How frequent it is probably depends on how attractive you are.

There's a number too large for me to count of the amount of guys that tried to be Don Draper and it failed miserably. They were just left out of interactions because people assumed they didn't want to be spoken too or they had never spoke up before (under the false pretence that they're mysterious), so ultimately people judge them as quiet, boring or even stuck up (that applies more to quiet girls though). Your success is personal but good for you nonetheless.

It's okay to be quiet and aloof as long as you have other traits or characteristics that portray high value. You can't just sit in a corner and brood you need to be interesting, intriguing, or already established. Too many shy/introverted individuals tend to think "all I have to do is be quiet and people will think I'm mysterious," nope like everything else you need to have some other draw that will pick up the slack be it looks, money, etc.

For me one of the great things about being introverted is that it's very easy and natural for me to sit back and gather all kinds of information about people and things going on around me. Most people can't wait to tell you anything and everything about themselves.That information can often be valuable and used in later interactions.

My advice if you don't like to talk much then when you do make sure it's something of substance.

If you give off signs that you're socially in tune by other means it works pretty well. Wearing fashionable clothes, painting your nails, jewelry, music taste, tattoos etc. If you're good looking and have some of the above girls will just gravitate towards you. The current one I'm seeing pretty much inserted herself into my life because I looked mysterious.

Guys dislike it though so it doesn't work if you go to an event on your own as you'll be left out. If you intend to game girls by means other than social circle game then I don't imagine it'll work.

I relate to this alot. BP guys think you have to establish that you're interested and you just don't, you can do that with eye contact, you don't have to pretend to be interested in whatever she's doing or call her pretty, that shit actually hurts more than it helps.

They don't want you to care, nor to be talking like a parrot. Because neither are masculine traits. Then again, it only matters if she is already attracted to you in the first place. And when that condition is met you can do a lot so long it's not beta behaviour. You won't impress anyone because you're silent.

In my case, I do remember past relationships mentioning I was serious/quiet. Still, they were drawn to me. If you know RP you can make the most of it, I didn't.

I see where you're coming from. I'm more of an extraverted introvert or introverted extrovert. I am perfectly fine being by myself and my conversations are usually deep. I used to be foolish before and felt like i needed to entertain. I stopped doing that and stopped trying to be somebody i don't care to be. As a result? Mich, much more interest. Girls always give me that "who are yoi, talk to me please look"and i had a few actually ask me why i sit by myself and if i don't get bored. Which i don't, i just enjoy my thoughts. Which is an attitude that i noticed just intrigues chicks and attracts chicks because they are always looking for that stable, self assured and self content rock in their life.

That being said it has short comings, you still need to be a man and start a conversation with the chicks. And if you're like me even make (oh gosh) small talk. I'm still working on that as i noticed i lose a shit ton of chicks because of my barely burgeoning small talk skills. Not all conversations have to be about deep philosophy and elaborate sex talk. And not all girls are apt to those either.

Over all the RP is about becoming a more rounded and balanced man. Too introverted and nothing happens. Too extraverted and you're considered a clown or a jester.
