My ex has been seeing a guy for a few months directly after I ended the relationship. I was invited a small campus event that she hosted at my University and so I dropped by. For the first time there I actually saw the guy she replaced me with, a few inches taller, a skinny athletic build to my shorter (5,8) lifters build. We both looked each other in the eyes, and while I turned to interact with the people in the room and the event, I could feel him still looking at me with distain. When I looked towards him again, he had shrunken down in his seat and took on a more closed off, reserved body language. But was still starting me down.
