Probably because you don't understand marriage. Most of the time it's two people who watched/consumed enough media to convince themselves it's necessary and that they are madly in love like no other person on the planet. Or they are terrified of being alone so they find someone else to latch on two. Or they are codependent. Or they are young and naive. The list goes on. The people who actually make it are the ones willing to support and invest in each other in a partnership to raise children and it's a very small percentile. Ever talk to an old couple? Usually they tolerate each other. Most married folk, even long term LTR folk, hate their lives. I'm not here to tell you what to do in your life, but you should definitely research both sides and come up with your own conclusions from critical thinking.

Just not get married. Nothing wrong with having an LTR, but marriage is nothing but a superficial cultural ceremony that hardly even means anything. Prenups to women is another way of saying "I don't trust you, and I don't want you taking my shit", and can ultimately be a cause for resentment. Not to mention, I don't know where but recently a prenup was through out by a judge and that could possibly used (based on state, county, idk where it was) as legal precedent for the future.

Tl;dr: It's just pointless and isn't really worth it.

From a legal standpoint it makes sense. I can see something like a prenup or something like that as a fix. And selecting a girl with traditional values as opposed to western to make things easier on your self (although these are hard to find)

There are lots of people who tell you you 'need' to get married because what about when you're older? Well, in the long run, we're all dead. You can either be in the nursing home waiting to die thinking about the great times you had, or you can think about how you gave up fucking different women in exchange for letting one woman kill your dreams because she wanted "security".

Sometimes my married friends ask me if I have FOMO over not being married, and I say (to humor them) "Maybe a little..." then I administer the coup de grace "...but now I'm going to back to doing Whatever I Want, All The Time."

Let me ask you this, if I said to you "Hey, let's go skydiving...but don't worry, only 50% of the parachutes don't open," - you'd say FUCK NO, I'm not going! Yet, that's the failure rate for marriage.

And, "But what if you want kids?" First, I understand wanting to leave a genetic legacy, but kids are also a HUGE pain the ass. Second, you don't need to be married to have kids.

Maybe my mother is a remnant of a time long past but her and my dad are going stronger than ever after 27 years, I'm actually kind of jealous of their relationship since I feel women like her are long gone in this day and age.

They've been together in sickness and health, in wealth and rough patches. She's his stone and he is hers, they compliment each other perfectly and miss themselves dearly when they have to be separated for more than a week. My dad has never read about TRP, he does have a strong frame but he's just a fucking decent human being, working hard as far as my memory serves while not flooding her with monetary freedom, and she's somehow ok with that!

But yeah, she had her own career and had a very traditional upbringing so AT LEAST a woman should check this out before I even consider marrying her up (which I'm getting less and less interesting in recent years). Most women I meet around my age (25-27) already carry huge drama and emotional backpacks ready to burst at any moment ... it's just not worth it anymore.

You’ve got to get lucky as fuck and find a traditional woman. They’re out there but it’s very difficult to find. Me personally I go back and forth between enjoying marriage and thinking how great it would be to have plates. There are pros and cons but it all comes down to how traditional and obedient your woman is. Those women are typically in second and third world countries which is where my wife is from.

If you can find someone who cooks, cleans, fucks you 3-4-5 times a week, doesn’t spend money, and doesn’t use social media, you’ve got a winning ticket. This is my particular situation and I love it. I can raw dog my wife, shoot guns, go out to bars and generally buy and or do whatever I want. I don’t sleep with other women and that’s because I really don’t need to. Between my professional job, college, friends and hobbies plus my wife, I don’t have time to fuck other women. I’m focused on enjoying alone time now more than anything because my life is busy and I enjoy my hobbies or alone time any chance I get.

Wife up with a traditional minded girl with whom you are very close values match, and she should be on a track to be self-sufficient, if not self-sufficient already. As in have an education and career where she doesn't need you. One way or another, she should have or contribute to building as much of the marital estate as you, if not more. that way she has as much, if not more, to lose if the marriage ends in divorce.

Then, screen the hell out of her. Make sure she won't quit work as soon as you're married. Make sure she'll value her investment in the marital estate, and she'll make moves to protect that investment. As in, she knows if she fucks up the marriage, she stands to lose resources she worked hard to build.

I know what TRP crowd thinks, but I just married my 2nd wife. she will be my last wife one way or another. She's got her own established career, and a big trust fund her dad set up for her. She's bringing a lot more to the table than me as a result. As such, she's risking more than me. It's a nice position to be in for me. She's even acknowledged it.

Getting a woman to take that leap - that's what TRP style of thinking and behaving in a relationship results in if you're a RP man and otherwise still conduct yourself with good grace and respect for others. Oh, and fuck her good - when she's anxious, she comes looking for a good fuck, it relieves her. When they feel comforted after being thoroughly railed like a dirty whore, you know you're doing it right.

Sexual Exclusivity. Financial Exclusivity. Emotional Support.

You should really look into how marriage came about. There was no love in there. Just an agreement between two parties to share resources to raise children, who would then inherit those resources without having to question their lineage.

None of that involves religion and even in the bible you cannot find a wedding ceremony like the ones we are doing today. So saying it's for religious reasons....doesnt hold up. Not arguing with any religious fanatics about that either.

Tv and media have sold us marriage like it's the ultimate life package...but that's someone else telling you how to live YOUR life.

Live your life based on how you want it to be. Not because tradition and other idiots have followed that path.

Prenups are a hit or miss. Sometimes, it'll save your ass but in some jurisdictions, the judge can simply throw out your prenup on the basis of your ex-wife's crocodile tears.

That being said, the sub Married red pill (and ask MRP) exist for a reason. I agree with you that only spinning plates is a bit... depressing. I want to get married too: it's possible to have a Redpill marriage. It's just that it's like playing a videogame on hard mode and you don't get to restart if you fail. Keep in mind that even Rollo Tomassi, of Rational Male fame, is married.

From legal point, it makes sense. Prenups are not foolproof in america acording to %100 of trp (i am not american). Trad women can turn in to whore at any point. There are stories about it. Bad culture, slut friends, feminazis etc. There are tons of old people that say marrying now is not as good as marring at their times, there are yough people that say the same too.

Life long ltr can keep state out of your relationship but other factors remains same.

I dont know any inter-america solution. But you can go to more conservative country if you are bold. For example, you can get 1 to 4 virgin wifes in arabia at the cost of: prayers 5 times a day, fasting for 1 month, giving 1/40 of your money every year and family's expenses. Thats well worth it if you like virgin brunettes(who doesnt lol).

Edit: Prenups are useless. She could easily tell the judge that she had a glass of wine before you forced her to sign this paper and the prenup would be thrown out of court and you would be rendered defenceless to divorce rape (this is one of many ways women can get prenups thrown out).

Marriage is quite literally a contract. Prenups are losing their worth as well. Good LTR's are fine but, you can't forget that it is literally a legal contract. And if kids get involved and she changes her mind you will suddenly understand why it's generally frowned upon here.

Or you can find a middle ground? I plan on getting into a long-term relationship (eventually) and will pursue a woman who doesn't care for marriage. Seems like a win/win in my book. I get the fulfillment and stability of a relationship without the potential drawbacks of a marriage.

Getting married is too risky you become tied legally and financially to the woman. I'm in my 50s I've had quite a few LTRs and broke off if marriage was insisted. I have close friends including women who I can depend on and can depend on me, no man is an island. I am lucky in that I have financial means and can handle life's emergencies. I do admit true old age is a bit scary but what isn't, I'm lucky in that my health is excellent and longevity runs in my family. Complete freedom is a wonderful life.
