I'll preface this by saying that I had terrible case of the "Nice Guy" syndrome, and used to simp hard for this girl. But I've grown a lot since then.

Message reads, "Hey you, it's been a long time. How are you?"

Pretty sure she's trying to figure out how she's doing in comparison to me and see if I'd be her backup plan in the future if shit doesn't work out for her.

I have absolutely no intention of fucking her so obviously won't be messaging her back, but how do I clearly convey that to her?

Do I leave her on read, or just flat out delete it without the read receipt?
