Don't go to parties then if you don't enjoy them. I prefer 1:1 interaction with people. Parties bore me and I typically leave within an hour or two

Seriously, you are way too into yourself. Stop analyzing yourself and just talk to people. Listen 2/3 of the time. Drill down and find out what makes them tick—what are their worries? What do they really want and need? Get out of your story and into theirs.

Work the whole room. Say high, ask a few questions and then move on. Longer longer if you have a spark with someone, leave faster if the seem uninterested.

It not complicated By the 2nd or third person all of your anxiety will be gone. You don't have to try and be a fun person...just mostly be yourself ( within reason) keep the conversation light. No heavy or serious topics. Small talk chit chat. Hey what's your name.... Where are you from..... What's it like there..... What do you do for fun..... Simple.
