PUA is real but very few guys (5% I heard) who practice PUA actually make it.

The reason for this is because you literary have to go out 4-5 times a week and approach on 5-20 girls per night. And maybe after a couple of years you might get better.

But why take anyone's word for it? Try this shit yourself. For 30 days go out 4 times a week. Try and hit on 5-20 girls per night. And Also practice day game, IE if youre at walmart try and approach at least 1 or 5 girls. This might sound like a waste of time or something stupid to do but you'll be freakin surprise how after a while you will start craving wanting to go and how this will turn into an adventure. And even if you suck at getting bitches you will eventually dump into a girl looking for Mr right now. But mostly you'll bump into drunk ass party bitches who might look hot but don't know how to take care of themselves.

PUA is real. If you watch youtube videos, I'm sure most have perfected it so they are successful more times than not. But most guys aren't going to ever get that success. Besides, self propaganda; you only show your successes, and cut all the failures.

You say that like these are slobby looking dudes. I mean, sure they are douchey, but What I'd like to see is a short, fat dude pull that shit off. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, it does. I'm just saying its not helpful when someone who is 6'2', fit as fuck, and a natural alpha that couldn't be beta if he tried, tries to tell the rest of us how easy it is for "anyone" to pick up 9s.

As a fat guy who is also not very tall or handsome and has tried to PUA stuff, I can safely say two things.

It is all a numbers game. Those youtube videos you see where this stuff works came AFTER you have been shot down many times. The worse you look, act or smell, The more you have to try too. What doesn't work on 10 girls may (and I have seen this first hand) work amazingly on the 11th. An issue with the PUA community is hiding their rejection rates. Ya you banged a 9, but it took dealing with a lot of shitty mean women to get there. Its easier just to say "Just say these words and shes yours". Thats where the fakeness of PUA comes in. Opposite side of the coin, us guys will not even get 15 approaches deep before giving up, as the rejection hurts. We let these rejections haunt us. No one wants to have a graveyard of failure. Its way easier to just stay home and play video games.
Looks/confidence will give you better odds (You only need to be rejected 5 times instead of 10), but indeed, Fun is key. One Particular instance is I was dressed in baggy pokemon shirt, jeans and crappy shoes. I ended up making out with two women at once that night. Right place, right time. I fueled their drunken fun in my own special way. Fun is a hard thing to describe, picture a bro or friend who you love to spend time with. Why do you just enjoy their company? Is it cause they are funny, into the same things as you or just great to talk to cause they listen? Different girls have different versions of fun, and that too, is a numbers game. Letting go and being in the moment, and just having fun is so key. RSD Tyler explains this very well too. Fun is his main weapon, and its what makes up for lack of good genetics.

So When you hear of Mystery or Neil Strauss stories. They arent models, but get laid like so. Its cause have devoted their lives (Moved to a party city, quit their day jobs, Workout and fashion themselves regularly) to it. Naturally, anything you spend 80% of your waking hours on, you will get good at. 99.9% of single guys aren't going to do all that to have one night stands with hot girls. Us normies just have good moments with a lot of rejection around it, then go to work the next Monday at our boring jobs.

In short, yes it works but it comes at a much higher cost of time, money, and effort then most men are willing to put in. The worse you look or act, higher the cost.

PUA is kinda like TRP but without the self-improvement part. They focus on game only, lack concepts like rock solid frame, IDGAF mentality, being the best version of yourself, being a high quality man. PUA will most likely get the "HB of his dreams", then will think "i dont need to keep playing the game, i got the girl", will get lazy, she will betafy him and the relationship goes to shit, cause he lacks the core principles, if he was a BP bitch he will remain a BP bitch but with game.

I've been practicing pickup in my spare time. I'll hit the mall for an hour or two a week before I skate at the skatepark near there. I plan on hitting some college campus's near me soon. It's almost like a game for me. I'm one of those that learns from mistakes and uses trial and error. Just don't do any less than about 5 approaches in one set. After each one do a quick analyze and then move on.

Well dude, define "real".

I'm that guy that would look into impressing a girl by humbling himself and complimenting her, and get so pissed by her lack of reaction that I'd eventually turn into an arrogant prick and rub all my metaphorical sizeable penises hoping that she'd jump on my lap and start sucking the real one.
PUA taught me how to talk and how to act attractive and then I picked up girls.

A bro was much of the same, but he wouldn't turn into a dick, he'd just be in love and in love forever and ever and ever afraid to make a move. This guy doesn't have sizeable attraction though.
PUA taught him how to approach and get a girl's attention to hear him, then also taught what he had to say to get her attracted. He picks up now (his poor looks are starting to bite his ass though).

Anyway. I'm pretty sure that 5% thing is realistic.
My guess is most guys that get into that sort of stuff are a bit like me. We didn't pick up. Then we go and start doing some moves, and damn, we pick up. Suddenly a girl is so nice, she's putting out so easy, what we have going on is nice (because there is sex and we're starved as fuck, we associate these chicks with the pleasure and welfare sex brings), bam. We LTR the chick and stop gaming.
