If not, don't. If yes, do. If it takes time to get good, then commit to that time. You don't have to be good at dancing for it to make your girl happy.

I suggest learning to dance. If your gf is learning East Coast Swing it's simple to learn and a social dance unlike ballroom which is structured. It might be the easiest of the bunch you listed to learn.

I tell new leads it takes about ten lessons to learn enough moves to dance a 3 minute song and also you have an advantage you have a willing follow to practice anytime you want.

My 2 cents? If youve valuable don't worry and just keep doing your thing. If your value's not where you'd like it to be yet, think about it carefully. Do you want to learn dance or are you doing it just to mate guard her? Will you be breaking frame if you start dance? Will you have the time?

Keep in mind people grow at different rates in relationships, and sometimes it's hard to keep it all together. If you have different interests that's fine, go and pursue them. This might be a good way to test her level of commitment - if she pulls in one direction and you in another, who will cede first?
