You will almost NEVER get "we should slow down" or "some time off" from a woman who's into you. I think you're fine. The key for these situations is to be polite, say very little, and move on. Sometimes girls come back and if you're into spinning plates maintaining composure will make them much more likely to come back.

I'm assuming you're following the TRP guideline of spinning plates by default. Even if you're the LTR type, in general you spin girls as plates while they earn your commitment through nonsexual tokens of affection (cook you a meal, make you something, clean for you etc).

Even if you consider a girl a potential LTR candidate at least for the first few months you want to treat her as a plate, and make her earn every bit of the relationship.
