Intro If she’s just not into you it’s highly unlikely that you’ll win her over. I’ll take you through all the things that I think are important. These topics I write about are things I have learned over time and nothing is set in stone. I'll update at least once a week so check back in with me! Also, feel free to leave comments, both good or bad. I don’t really care either way.
Here’s 10 quick tips you can use tonight!
To preface this, I’d like to inform you all that I am not the most devilishly handsome man in the world. I’m just your average guy who has been thrown to the wolves so to speak when it comes to meeting women. I’ve had my share of embarrassing moments and even times when women are downright rude. It’s going to happen and to be honest, it’s not easy at first. However, it’s something that you will get comfortable with over time. The hardest part about it is the approach. When you get over that fear you will be to be like a lion going after a gazelle.
10 – Wherever you go, know the dress code and dress just a little better than the other guys in there. If it’s a causal t-shirt and jeans kind of place, throw on a nice single color collared shirt. Appearance is the first attraction. Nobody's initially interested in a car by the way it runs. Clean yourself up and dress just a little better than your competition. Don’t go overboard though, just class up your attire a bit. If you struggle with fashion that's another subject I will cover at a later time.
9 – Set your standards high!! You are looking for an attractive female are you not? So stop hitting on every woman in ever bar and hoping to get one of them to go home with you. Sex with mediocre women is only cool for a little while, then you wake up and sneak out of her house in hopes she didn’t remember anything about you. Go out, find the two most attractive women in the bar and try to talk to them. Wake up guys, it’s a game of numbers. You are going to get turned down. If you’re anything like me you will learn from it and it will not only make you stronger, but will also make you more comfortable with approaching women. Speaking of standards, if you are looking for a beautiful women who takes care of herself and is in shape, you might want to lose those extra couple of pounds of belly fat. She will probably be looking for the same.
8 – Walk into the place like you own it. As a matter of fact, train yourself to walk with your shoulders back and head high like you own the world. It shows confidence. Don’t slouch or walk too fast, it’s not a good look. On a side note, don’t go to 20 different places. Keep it to two or three places as you will become a regular and can work yourself into social circles with other regulars.
7 – Post up somewhere and have a drink. Constantly looking around is not a good body language. Wherever you sit or stand make sure it’s a high traffic area like at the bar or on the way to the bar, as women will likely be getting their drinks there.
6 – Keep your hands out of your pockets and don’t hold your drink up next to your chest. Let your arms fall next to you or if you’re sitting down always have them in front of you. If you were going to take a picture, would you have your hands jammed in your pockets? No. Body language is very important and you want to look like you are relaxed and out to have fun even if you’re feeling like a scared little gazelle inside act like a lion!!
5 – Like I said in the previous tip, body language is very important. If you’re attracted to a woman turn your body towards her. If she does the same, she’s likely showing a slight interest in you as well. Look for physical cues like her changing direction so that her shoes are pointed toward you. This can mean she’s presenting herself to you. Playing with her hair or touching her arm as you catch eye contact is a good sign she may be interested.
4 – Don’t do the negs (negative comments in order to attempt to gain the interest of a woman) these can backfire quickly and rarely work anyway. However, you DO want to be playful with her. If you can keep a woman smiling and laughing the battle is half over. Tell her something like “Aww, you’re so cute with those glasses, you look like a teacher or something.” If she’s a waitress and you had to wait a few minutes for a drink tell her ”I remember when they had good help here” then wait a few seconds, laugh and tell her you’re just playing around. Being playful can be making fun of someone but not to a point where it could be construed as rude.
3 – Try not to show much interest in her within the first 10 min of conversation. Act like you’re just in it for simple playful conversation. For the sake of all mankind, don’t, I repeat, DON”T start by asking her what her name is. Make a comment about something that’s going on in the place or something she’s wearing. Actually, don’t even ask her name at all!!!! The trick is, if she asks what your name is before you walk away you know there is a slight interest.
2 – You might be saying to yourself, this is great information but I don’t even know how to talk to women. That’s the easy part my friend. You don’t have to talk. You just have to listen!!! Ask them questions about themselves. Open ended questions where they can’t just give you a yes or no answer. The key to good conversation is listening. If you ask an open ended question she is going to tell you a few different things that you can use to keep it going.
1 – The most important thing ever, and I stress EVER, will be eye contact. It shows intimacy and confidence. If you make eye contact with a woman don’t be the first to break that eye contact. I have trained myself to do this and now do it with everyone. Now, with that said don’t stare at someone until they break eye contact. That’s just going to make you look creepy. If they don’t look away within the first 5 seconds you should or else they will think you’re a rapist.
So in closing, go out, have a great time and no matter what happens keep a positive attitude. You will learn from any mistakes you make. You have to talk to women in a way that the majority of men do not. If she’s highly attractive, ya think she’s ever been told that? Yeah, probably since she was in high school. Tell her she’s cute, you like her style, or her hair is really pretty the way she fixes it. Say something that nobody else says or you will just fall into the same category as the guy who introduces himself and asks her name. You may not find what you’re looking for tonight, but it’s a game of numbers. She’s out there… go talk to her!!
