In the future never double call or text unless there’s a legit time constraint to whatever you’re talking about. If her phone doesn’t get picked up, just text “just gave you call, hit me back when you can.” Anything more is chasing, and doesn’t do you any favors.

It’s entirely possible her mood was not because of you. If it was related to you, she might just feel shocked/annoyed you didn’t have time for her before. That’s really petty but it’s a possibility. Either way, you just say “I gotcha. Sorry to hear you’re feeling bad.” Don’t assume blame and chase because she’s feeling bad - that reinforces the idea she can use her emotions to control you.

I had once a girl who was usually very interested and showed it through messages go “colder” one afternoon (short messages, more detached tone)

This was while I was texting to meet her that night and when we did she told me she had problems with her documents and she might not get into the job she was applying to.

It's not a good sign when a woman tells you she's in a bad mood. Why she is sharing her bad mood with you could be for many reasons that have nothing to do with you. Or it could be because she may have perceived your last message as cold, dismissive, and rejecting. So that message may have rubbed her the wrong way and now she's passive-aggressively just saying she's in a bad mood without telling you why.

Maybe a family member is sick. Maybe she's having trouble at work. Maybe she has an expensive car or home repair to deal with
