Never set out to "convince" the girl. If you go to put your dick in her, and she says "not without a condom", then it would only make you a piece of shit if you proceeded to try to change her mind at that moment.

I generally make my choices based on lifestyle and perceived risk. A professional single mother working in an office doesn't want to put her kid at risk by coming down with Hep C or something, so I'm willing to take a gamble with her... whereas that hairstylist from OKCupid who was eager to meet and invited you back to her place after the second drink? Use a condom. And that girl you met at the club who has dots all over her hands from where she injects the herion... I won't even do her with a condom. Better to avoid the risk altogether.

This is an interesting question for me due to my current situation.

I'd been without a sexual partner for nearly 2 years up until last Sunday (I just posted about this) and so I knew I was completely STD free (and I also have a vasectomy).

I was so into this chick, that when I pulled off her panties and looked at her naked, the internal mental conversation I had in milliseconds went like this:

"You sure you don't want to use a condom?" "Yeah, any disease she's got I'm willing to share."

So, a couple days later I was discussing this situation with a doctor (at a social event--I didn't actually make an appointment over this) and he said, "I can cure anything [except AIDS] so don't sweat it. You're extremely unlikely to get the one thing I can't cure."

Now, of course, the women I'm chasing are in a certain category, 25-30yo Latinas in Guadalajara, college graduates/career types...but yeah, the ones that are going to fuck me are fucking other guys, I'm not unaware of this, however, the risk seems low....I don't know, I guess I should find out more about the actual statistics.

I can barely maintain an erection with a first time partner without a condom, with a condom it's impossible.

So the question then is, do I try to seduce women---but not have sex unless we've agreed to be exclusive and have gotten tested?

Or do I take the risks?

Jesus...this is why I like long term monogamous relationships, but I'm always fucking myself over because once I have sex I'm totally absorbed in a woman...

I did a few times. I always felt bad afterwards. I used to have the same flacid condom problem until I started using larger condoms. Now I am fine with using condoms. Have you tried different condom sizes like MySize (not sure about availability in US as I am from EU)?
