It seems like lately half the frontpage here is covered in "Alpha" related posts. I've never understood the type of rigid thinking that goes into ideas like there is an "Alpha" and "Beta" a "PUA" and "AFC".

Look nobody is any of theses things ALL THE TIME. No girl systematically desires or does not desire any particular trait ALL THE TIME.

Especially with this term "Alpha" it's to the point its meaningless. It's a proxy for every single perceived desirable trait. This type of thinking might be useful initially to help goad you into doing something outside of your normal frame of action but ultimately it leads to an incomplete and warped view of male female relations.

Traits that are often arbitrarily decided as "Alpha" are promoted "Beta" actions are perceived as weak as avoided without any real rhyme or reason for the most part.

Literally just the other day a guy in here had a situation where a girl calls him over in the middle of the night halfway through making out and foreplay she says she is afraid people just wants her for sex.

Guy was like "Was I too clingy for not freezing out?"

WTF. Guys, here is something to think about.

You can't get good with women by following 100 item bullet point of "Alpha" things.

You can't circumvent millions of years of evolution by just reading a couple of EBOOKs.

You are going to have go out and try and just do stuff. Forget Alpha or Beta.

There is only things that you do that feels right for you and that tend to work FOR YOU. When you follow a primer or the communities idea of what to do I can describe it is you are playing someone else's save file.

Best case scenario if it allows you to get to a part of the game you couldn't get to before but you have no idea how you got there and often it helps as much as it hurts. No one person's experience is going to work best for you. Go out there and play your own game.

Stop trying to figure out and then live up to an ideal that literally no one wants you live up to in the first place. I feel like all this talk about being alpha and beta is like we are all kids. And we admire this man. Instead of trying to figure out what makes the man tick we just notice he always wears an awesome suit.

Instead of figuring the life experiences that made that man who he is we are just exchanging fashion advice and where to get the best suits.

There is much more going on to what makes a man desirable or not desirable. Stop looking at surface level traits. Confidence is powerful, but so is vulnerability.

There are no absolutes in dealing with women. There is no chode/pua dichotomy. There are just things that increase your chances with the girl and those at don't. And. single. girl. is different.

Put a little more thought into the process. You will get better with women. Stop using someone else's save file when you run into problems. You will enjoy the game more when you figure out how to do it properly.
