Lol.. Bro I'll be real with you.

Two women sitting alone on a sidewalk at 1am aren't in meet new people mode they're in get home safe mode. From their perspective, a random car slows down and a man starts talking to them in the dark. That's a threat assessment situation, not a social one and it wouldn't really matter what you said.

The better rejected than not trying mindset is actually solid and don't lose that. But context is everything in this game. That situation was unwinnable before you opened your mouth because it was the wrong time, wrong place, wrong setting, and with all of that zero social proof. You were just playing on the wrong field entirely.

Don't measure your growth against that interaction just be more aware of the situations.

jfc, you need to really rethink this.. did you honestly think you would have any other outcome but this?

You immediately came across as a creep/ potential threat rolling up in your car.

You gave out a weak line, they said no emphatically, you decided to add to the creep vibes but not taking no for an answer. They were even more clear in their response.

You completed the set by still refusing to take a clear no as meaning no and tried a 3rd time.

That's the kind of "approach" that gives all men a bad name

it's nothing. Water off a ducks back. I've seen some of my friends get absolutely brutal rejections a million times worse than that. I've had my fair share too lol

If you do COLD approach and not 'warm' (i.e not waiting for IOI's etc) then you need to accept that you're gonna get told to fuck off a lot of the time unless you look like a young brad pitt. Just the way it is.

And that's amplified in certain countries, and more so in situations like you describe (i.e you in a car talking to girls on the sidewalk. Some Girls would associate with curb crawling/potential danger etc lol)

But yeah, don't worry about it! It was a bold approach, but likely nothing you would have said in that situation, with THEM girls would have ended in any type of success. We move on to teh next and don't give it a second thought!

You realize that it was a shitty attempt at pickup which you are correct because there are far better ways to pickup women than what you did which shows that your logical mind is intune with reality and you are not coping or delusional

Before you fix your process - I am sure you will, just look into the emotions you felt

The feeling you call "demoralized" is involuntary or emotional. It comes up on its own. You have no control. So, trying to beat yourself does not help here

It feels "bad" because you are trying to resist that feeling - consciously or subconciously

Do this even though it might sound weird

As an act of will or consciously create that "demoralized" feeling. Try to make it even worse as an act of will

I have found that this usually reduces or the feeling completely passes through you when you do this a few times as you have now taken ownership of that feeling and removed the resistance

Now, do this all the time when something feels uncomfortable when you are going about doing pickup

Over time, all actions that you do will become natural and you will feel a sense of lightness when doing pickup just like you would do any other enjoyable activity

When things are light and enjoyable, you will be open to do more approaches, try different things, be in the moment to calibrate according to what she gives out

Well, you've seen the fallacy of that platitude. There are times when retreat or doing nothing is the best option.

Consider an extreme: one of the girls, a manic-depressive, sprays mace at you, you wind up in the E.R. Would you still drag out that tired line?

A not-very-often acknowledged reality of attempting to pickup girls you know absolutely nothing about is that you may run into one who is batshit crazy...or infected with an std...or bait for a date crime..

If you need amore eloquent riff on the same thing, the poet Dryden wrote about Hannibal, "Even victors are by victory undone", meaning the effort, cost, and self-satisfaction of winning often results in losses far worse than the loss itself.

Instead of feeling demoralized, be grateful the girl blew you off. By Monday you might have felt like you were pissing barbed wire, and tap the brakes on trying to pickup strangers at 1am on the street.

Should you be kicking yourself? Yeah, a little. But not for being blown off, but for yielding to a compulsion.

I would advice not try to brute force things, don’t struggle, don’t cling to some far fetched hope, like ever. Read the room, pay attention to the mood and body language. If things are clearly not going your way, you should bail out before girls would need to scream it in your face. You need to realize the subtle and indirect nature of interactions with women and stop swimming against the current, it’s very much different from masculine logical and clear ways of dealing with things. But still, they were rude for little reason, you don’t want to put up with such attitude, there will be better opportunities out there, sooner or later.

yea it feels like shit getting talked to like that by women. but usually after they do it the first time i’ll fuck off and not continue trying 2 more times.

Btw there’s this whole “be mean to men” movement going on where women will just act horrible to you, sometimes unprompted and they think it’s a flex to do in front of their friends. I stopped taking those kind of rejections seriously anymore because of it, don’t think much into their behavior.
