But really I wouldn't pressure her into going out for lunch or dinner because that automatically makes her fell that you are trying to court her. Probably don't even text her just wait till you see her again!

P.S. You totally don't have to do this but... I've thought of something that's really been quite interesting/fun to try. I call it deja vu mind fucking! I think it would work great in this situation. Next time you see her on the train, do the exact same thing you did in this FR (same clothes same everything). Get her number in the same exact way (deleting it from her phone first). If she mentions that it's happened before or whatever just play it off like it never had. I've tried this with cashiers, waitresses, etc and they are fucking blown away and can't figure out wtf is going on! The result: You leave a MUCH bigger impression on them and they go throughout the day thinking about you/the situation. Again, you don't have to try but I've been trying to get more guys to try it out and evaluate. Take's some bawls though.

How long ago did you get her #? Hours/days? I'd send a joke or some silly banter her way and just see how she follows up. As thewtfzone said, do NOT come off as clingy/needy. Just be cool, you said you see her twice a day on the train...

Don't wait to text her, look up when you're free; give her a couple of options. Ie this sat, next fri etc.

She's interested otherwise she wouldn't have given you her number.

I feel like such a tool right now.

I was taking the train to check out some universities, and had by chance met a friend while on the way there. We talked for a while about where we were each going, and other uni choices. After my friend got off at her stop, another girl, pretty damn good looking who'd obviously overheard, kept instigating conversation with me.

At the time I was oblivious. Only just realised now after reading your post that it was blatant flirting. Now I understand why she pulled an awkward face after a bit. Oh, brain, if only you worked when I needed you most!

Text her when ever you get a chance, but unless you want to pursue a relationship with her do not take her on a date.

Take your time responding to her texts.

If youre aiming to get it in, then avoid activities that "couples" do. You dont want her to get into that standard "lets make him wait" that is the meta for relationships.

I'd wait maybe a day or two then text her I agree that it's important to not make it seem like your courting her but MOVE FAST you don't want her to get the message that your not interested everything you've done up till now hints it so make it known that way you can transition into deeper conversations/kino a lot easier

You've already asked her on the date, she gave you the number to sort that out.

Text her something funny, and not too far into the conversation you need to seal the date deal.

You have to do this before you see her on the train again, otherwise it could get awkward and she might think you bailed on using the number; and of course by then she would be right and you miss out.
