I'm a good looking guy, (probably a 7.5 or 8 out of 10). I get choosing signals and positive treatment from most women and honestly most men as well. So I just wanted to preface this with that.

So I noticed that if I'm walking by women that are average or slightly above average, but pretty, they will usually make strong eye contact or smile, play with their hair etc. Which shows me they're attracted. But when I walk past certain women that are above about an 8+, often they will ademately avoid eye contact. You can tell often that it's in relation to me, because they'll be looking straight forward, but when they pass me they'll make a concerted effort to look away. So I know it has to do with me. I also understand that every woman is different, because I noticed that sometimes it's because they're insecure and every woman handles attraction (or lack thereof) slightly different. But I'm pretty experienced and I know the signals. For example some will look away but they're smiling while looking away, so I know that's insecurity but attraction. So my question is why do you think women that are 8+ and very attractive make such a strong effort not to look at guys. And yes I already understand that sometimes it's because they "don't want to give you the wrong idea". But I think there's more to it My hypothesis is that sometimes they just enjoy doing it because it's a form of rejection and they think every guy wants them, so they're automatically rejecting guys to get off on it. Another thing that might be going on is that they look away to weed out the weak guys, because if you approach her while she's looking away, you have more confidence than average. There's more reasons but I want to hear your input. Keep it respectful.
