its all about not expecting anything going in. and being yourself coming out. regardless of what happens. just like you would when you hang out with your boys.

e.g. getting laid is the goal, but for some guys they go from being super cool -> little whiny bitches the minute getting laid gets taken off the table. see r/niceguys.

if you approach a girl and want her number, and don't get it. getting pissed off just shows that you're a little bitch and reaffirms her decision not to give it to you.

the goal is to let the girl see that whatever she does will not get a reaction out of you,

Outcome independence is something that can be applied to several aspects of life. In general, it means that no matter what happens, you will be ok; it won't affect you much (or not at all) and you'll comfortably move on to other things. It displays confidence in your ability to make do and deal with difficult situations.

Applying it to the job market, it can mean that if you were to lose your job, you know that you can find another one. It's a shitty situation, but you're not overly scared or concerned about it, because you know you are competent and will be able to find another job.
It's a hard thing to fake if you don't actually feel confident about your abilities, but if you are brave, you'll try to move onwards and look for other jobs, even though it sucks to have to go to interviews and sell yourself.

Applying it to the dating game, it can mean that it's ok to be rejected or risk losing opportunities with women, because you know there are tons more opportunities out there, and you know you'll eventually find someone else, no matter how hurt you are at the moment.
It's hard to fake as well, because we've been conditioned to have a pretty big ego that doesn't handle rejection well. Again, be brave and move on.

It can be applied to many more things, such as games and sports. It's a matter of understanding that we aren't defined by our failures, but instead by our successes. It's a matter of understanding there's no key to open up all doors. It's a matter of understanding that your worth and value don't depend on the outcome of your interactions with other people or their opinion.

Expect nothing. Then either you get what you expected or you get something more. That way you'll see it as winning no matter what.

you are unattached to results. You're out there, doing your thing, approaching and the results are 2nd to your behavior. You get blown off, but you went a little deeper on kino escalation - its a win.

You're going about it the wrong way. Outcome independence to me means that I don't give 2 shits what happens from an interaction. If they don't notice, if they tell me to fuck off, if they should kiss me, I don't care. It's easier to write about than to achieve, mind you.

Women are like shadows if you chase them they will flee, if you walk away they will follow. To me it is about being confident when you approach a woman, and then having the same confidence when you leave the interaction. It is a very difficult thing to master. When I would go clubbing I called it "Seek and go hide." I remember when I was at college I winked at a girl and then I kept walking to where I wanted to go. Which was a bench where I took my break. She actually came up to me and started a conversation with me. You can't be too confident, even if you have to fake it in the beginning.

Think of it like the scientific method. If you have a seduction hypothesis then test it out with a large enough sample size. Don't let your emotions affect your experiment.

based on what people have commented on here, i think i 'm fairly outcome independent, i dont get really annoyed if i dont get a girls number, and if a girl isnt into me, it wouldnt ruin my day or anything. sure i'd be a little bummed out for a minute but thats it.
