Techniques are not precisely interchangeable but much of the inner game stuff could be. It seems to me that, as a woman, you have the luxury of being a bit more straight-forward.

If you were attracted to a man, there aren't many instances where, if you simply smiled and introduced yourself, where it would not be appreciated, especially if you are visibly attractive.

Oke a few simple things,

First of all

"Be yourself" is seriously the best thing, and no I don't mean fart in his face if that is your thing. What I mean is:

Honesty does not make the most friend, it does make the best.

The same applies to pickup, it does not give you the most women (or in your case guys) but it does give you the best.

Second

Forget everything just approach, and learn trough experience, from what I have read you are not approaching or interacting because you wonder if they will like you.

Instead of that assume that they think the same, (Because honestly, we most of the time do). Maybe he is not all that interesting, so start wondering if you like them instead of if they will like you. because in the end, That is all the matters

Doing something wrong is not a bad thing. if on average you have success with 1 out of 20 guys, and you want to get laid once a week, that number won't change that easy, but you CAN approach 20 or even more guys each week.

This is the easiest and best way to progress AND reach your goal at the same time.

And don't forget to have fun Stop thinking and start acting.

Fellow female, I generally take the confidence tips and be friendly, I've found that enough men confuse friendliness for flirting that I just incorporate it. Also, physical contact never hurts, seriously.

One of the reasons we study this subject is that some men (like me) are not very sensitive to the signals women give us. So occasionally we get through a seduction almost by accident rather than intentionally. This is "getting lucky."

This would probably also apply to women too. If you aren't aware of the signals you're giving men, they're probably not picking up on it. Or at least, they're not clear about the signals, because you're not that clear about giving them.

I don't frequent this sub (just found this browsing new posts), but here's my advice based on personal experience (which may differ from others'): Be direct.

I am usually a very observant and analytical person, but when it comes to knowing a woman is flirting with me, I am completely oblivious. I don't even read into "signals" like a woman brushing her hair or touching my arm since these actions are very common and women often communicate physically without intending to be flirtatious. So again, be direct. Ask for his number, tell him he's handsome/attractive, buy him a drink from across the room--whatever you need to do to appropriately communicate your intentions.

All the little techniques guys talk about here have a similar root. They are basically using female psychology and the basic ideas about what ATTRACTS a woman to a man. Not what she analyzes or prefers but what gets her emotions spiking. The rule of thumb is that women are attracted to men that display behaviours that demonstrate reliability, security, social intuition and the willingness to communicate desire. Men are attracted to visible signs of fertility, nurturing behaviour and wish to be admired by a woman. You start with the root lizard brain desires and extrapolate from there. Good luck. (:

I wrote another comment in this thread on a different tangent, but let me just also add: YES, just like the most important advice is for us men, the biggest thing you can do is get over the AA and talk to him!

This is a nerve-wracking thought isn't it? Welcome to our world :) (the good thing is, you really can take things in your hands and improve on this, even as a girl)

More concretely: if you go up to a guy at a moment that he is not surrounded by friends or on his way to the bathroom or something, and give him a friendly 'hi, I am x!' with a smile, he is quite likely to return the smile and happily strike up a conversation. Guys very often love meeting new people and are enthusiast without any 'shields' when the occasion presents.

Number 1 and 3 are very useful. Number 4 is too much effort to be worthwhile, unless you are the very very clingy type. Number 2 probably doesnt matter too much, just be a nice person.

Basically, just be a nice/cool person, and be attractive. Social skills help, but probably not by much. imo confidence is good, but not necessary. Just talk to the guy and even if you appear desperate its allgood cause he focuses on your looks and your personality.

As a shy guy, when a really hot girl approached me out of the blue, I didn't really know how to react, but I was sure glad she did as I would have just checked her out sadly from a distance if she hadn't. So yeah if you want something, it can't really hurt to go after it.

If youre really interested in learning about this without all the routine stacks and whatnot there are a couple of guys who teach women about how to be attractive to men. Check out Matthew Hussey and Mat Boggs on youtube, just beware, they ARE trying to sell you something. Really, most of it is simple confidence.

If you signal confidence through body language, you dont really need to say much. Make strong eye contact across the room and smile to signal a guy that its okay to come and talk to you. Remember, theyre probably just as nervous as you, so maybe approach it from 'how can I set them at ease.' Helping others to relax is also a sign of confidence, as well as being classy and high value. They may not come over, you may not be their type. Let go of the outcome and just enjoy each interaction without worrying about where it is going. Youll start to relax more and get a better idea of when guys are interested and what spikes interest. Basically, youll develop your move set. And different things work for different people. Most importantly, have FUN. Personal recommendation: learn how to dress attractively without going all out skin show -> It lacks class and will only lead to one night hook ups and shallow interactions.

A great way to practice is to find a low stress environment where the men arent too attractive/scary. You can practice your flirting, banter and body language very easily in places where the men tend to be 'nerdier' because theyre generally less intimidating and friendlier. Push yourself, game hard, it will feel awkward at first, but it doesnt matter because it wont have a negative effect on your actual life. When you feel more confident, move to scarier settings like a bar or a club. Avoid practicing in your existing social circle. Personally, I feel the most challenging place to practice is during the day in places like the gym or grocery store because people arent necessarily looking to flirt at those times.

Men care more about looks. However I do prefer to hang out with a girl who is 7 in the looks department that has a great personality than an 8 in the looks department with shitty personality. I think you can compensate the looks gap somewhat with personality. But if you are a 2 in the looks department, no personality will matter to me.

One thing is true. We hate neediness and clingyness as much as you. If you send two texts back to back and we don't respond. Stop for a few days. Also, put on a happy face. Stop complaining. Smile. All real simple stuff.

Personally, I'm a sucker for a playful, confident girl. One such example: I was standing at a table in a bar waiting for my friend to check his coat, and a girl just walked toward me and said "I love your outift!" I say my thanks, and she touches my tie as if adjusting it. Immediately I know she's interested, and I adjust my body language to let her know I might be willing to play along. I parted with her because her friend, who was less interesting, wanted to dance with me, and she wanted to set us up. Whenever I passed her, she would give me this playful smile or a wink, just something to remind me she's there. I was smitten. This girl had game.

Another similar, but less smooth event, a girl turns toward me at the bar, says I'm very well dressed, I say thanks, she "adjusts my tie". We talk a little, she mentions her roommate was at the gym bla bla bla squatting, bla bla bla, she and her roommate are both sort of twerking/grinding the bar. Bear in mind, those were two gorgeous girls, both at least HB8's, and I had barely said anything. I lost a bit of interest, 'cause the thrill of the chase faded away a little. This girl's mistake is she broke character. She started playful and flirty, but turned easy as soon as I showed a green light. It's the equivalent of a guy breaking frame and suddenly becoming clingy. I wasn't turned off, I just wasn't going ga-ga over her anymore.

TL:DR; find something you like about the guy, clothes are the easiest way into it, so I would say use it a couple times until you get more comfortable with the approach. Walk up to him, tell him you like whatever it is you like. Smile, start conversation, ease into the kino, pretend there's something on his sleeve or chest, sneak in closer and minimize the distance between you. Don't break frame, don't get clingy. Make him buy you a drink, maybe. Make him work to keep you, you're golden.

Most are definitely not interchangable. What women like in men, and what men like in women, is often very different.

HOWEVER, a funny observation: a lot of the psychology behind this stuff relies on the fact that attractive women are used to having a choice in guys, and in having guys try to kiss their ass all the time.

The funny thing is that guys who are very successful with women will share this psychology. And thus as a consequence, they will be fascinated by a girl doing this kind of stuff, for the same reason attractive women are.

I (humbly) speak from experience - while I am far from a PUA/womanizer these days, during 'peak' periods where I was really dating at a high pace, at any time having multiple girls at my 'disposal', and generally feeling when entering a new room that hooking up was pretty much only depending on whether I feel like it, it often hit me that what lighted a spark in me for a girl was really 'seddit-style' stuff.

Like, I felt that I was the one giving 'shit tests' and she was the one being clever about deflecting them, things like that. Or I would greatly admire a girl that was pro-actively trying to isolate me from the group, or 'neg' me early in the conversation. (girls are often too kind to say negative things at a guy, even if it's said jokingly - so a pretty girl doing that to you with an evil grin has a pretty high impact to say the least)

Curious actually if others here recognize this feeling?

TL;DR: if you want to try this stuff as a girl, try it on the guys of whom you know/see they are successful with women
