This article was written for someone like me, I know that much for sure. The first half makes sense to me, I get it. The second half, "You Pretend", doesn't make sense. I don't think that I can "tell myself" that I don't care when in fact, I know deep down that I do care. Practicing with no purpose of improvement seems illogical. Not caring is a big deal for me because I can't seem to do it. I've always been the type of person that "cares". I put in extra effort for my family, friends, school, work (and it always returns in spades) but with pickup and women in general, it seems like the more I do, the less progress I make. What aspect of "not caring" am I missing? Why isn't it clicking and how can I improve?

Even now, I care about not caring. I don't get this and sometimes I feel like I'm just doing everything wrong.

Agree 100%. Ironically, the guys who need this kind of advice the most are the guys who will dismiss it the quickest.

Good post... Few questions:

Even reading that girl's response made me uncomfortable... How do you go about shaking off responses like that, or getting in the zen moment (when i actually get rejected I don't give a shit for the most part, but going into it I do fear it).
You say push on when you run out of things to say, how? This is something I'm terrible at.
I have ADD and find it incredibly difficult to meditate, which you said helps... How can I overcome this, or any other tricks?

I just want everyone to step back and remember that "care less, score more" only works if your "care less" behavior is already attractive to women. For the rest of us, like myself, whose "care less" default behavior consists in having intelligent (but unfunny) conversations or playing video games, "care less" doesn't lead to scoring more. I know, I've tried. I actively have to work to display qualities attractive to women.
