So I work in a restaurant, and tonight I noticed a beautiful young woman come in and sit down at the table. I thought about what I'd say to her when suddenly an idea came to mind. I walked up to her and said, "you look familiar." She responded, "I come in here a lot," but I assured her that was not it. As I worked I kept charming her with ideas as to where we may have met before, none of which were actually true, but were good for laughs and rapport. Finally, I approached the table and said, " I can't think of where I've met you before, but I have a plan. How about we spend an afternoon at lunch trying to figure it out." She was surprised and even complimented me. She said it was very smooth. I ended up getting her number.
