Dude that is super creepy. Based on how you described it, it sounded like she was trying to get away from you. Considering this was a transit environment, you're pretty lucky she gave an obvious IOD. Most women I've tried hitting on on transit, if they weren't interested, wouldn't have an escape even if they wanted to get away from me. Now let's say you have gotten into a conversation with her. Even if she did share her career and her name, if you didn't ask for contact information, that is not permission to use the info she shared and do a google search on her. That was not permission to "hey look my up." This is something hackers would do.

All and all, the next time you try to talk to a woman on transit, be very sensitive to the environment around her and the fact that she has no escape if she's not interested. If you try talking to her and she gives short, curt responses, or if she's giving in a little detail yet not asking any questions back to keep it going, I'd stop and let it die. The best she can do is signal to you she's not interested, if you pick that up and not continue, she won't continue the conversation if she's not interested. Remember she has no way of escaping a transit environment, so if you don't pick up on these signals, then her next safest option would be to ACT interested in you until she can get off. At this point, you'll convince yourself she's interested, which by the time you'll get her number and try to message her, she'll just ghost you. For your particular situation, it sounded like she came to her stop at the right time, or she pretended it's her stop to escape you. But the next time you try this with another girl, she prob won't be as proactive a the one you dealt with. So just a couple of things to keep in mind.

If she didn't say her name, and you didn't have a super-positive vibe going, don't message her. Rather talk with her once more if you happen to meet her on the same bus, and see where the conversation goes.

Don’t beat yourself up buddy, who cares… You’re not the first to approach her since she’s hot. She deals with this stuff all the time and you’ll soon realize there isn’t much difference between online and real life. The antidote is not needed. Just like they have bunch of guys on dating apps, they also have bunch of guys irl. Plenty of options to choose from while bros fight for leftovers. But there’s a simple rule you can go by, if she doesn’t show much interest into you, doesn’t ask any questions etc. it’s best to leave her alone and look for another one (^.⁾
