It depends on the person.

Back before all my good photos got deleted off my phone for some mysterious reason I was getting around 50+ matches a month. Now with shitty pictures due to lockdown I get barely any so I know that it’s not that I’m unattractive.

Even still there’s people who couldn’t care less about the number of matches they get and there’s those who are really depressed by it.

The fact is cold approach will likely be worse in terms of rejection because it’s in person but easier to get a girl to like you because you can express yourself better.

I’d advocate for doing cold approach alongside having good lads night outs and things like that where pictures are taken showing you having fun. Then you put those on insta and message the girls from insta. That way they can get a broader look at who you are as a person.

I would agree. But even better than the cold approach I joined local social clubs to make friends and the girls came after. Now I also have a ton of friends and a 9/10 gf. Definitely recommend it.

I think tinder is a good measure of your attractiveness. Not saying that it’s easier to get dates. It’s harder be so many dms. But if you get a lot of likes then i think it’s a good indicator. If girls arent even right swiping you then i would worry about my appearance

If you're in the top 5% of men looks-wise, dating apps are still confidence-killers. You get all these women matching and trying to fuck you that IRL they'd have no shot at spending a night with you, and they'd know it. The best looking girls are just too few, and are inundated with messages from thousands of men everyday anyway.

I think it’s the opposite in most cases, you are showing your best photos, your music taste and hobbies, many people will likely take an interest in these and make you feel connected and valued. I don’t even see how you can be rejected as it never shows ‘X disliked you’, which is unlike cold approach. People feel a low self esteem because they don’t know how these apps work, Tinder for example has a ranking system that not only improves your ELO based on like percentage but also activity level, authentication, selectiveness, response rate etc. This causes people to question why they have low quality matches when it’s actually just a case of not playing to the algorithm.
