Stop caring right now! A lot of guys get all messed up and out of our element when we really like a girl. If she likes you it's not the overthinking you, if you keep being that guy you won't be talking to her for long. I've gone through it a couple times and I ended up kicking myself in the ass in the end. Do whatever you can to get this girl back down on your level in your mind, she's just another human being. Ignore it. She likely won't bring it up. If she does, be playful and say you're awkward sometimes. Stand tall while armed with the confidence that it is an unremarkable moment in your life and potential relationship with this person. Yes you’re overreacting and No a 1 minute conversation won’t leave a bad mark. Stop overthinking it and just be yourself. The more you pump her up in your mind the more awkward you will be. Just treat her like anyone else and ask her out next time you see her.

Don't listen to them. If the woman is available (single, without a guy) and she has a little spark of interest on you, I say go for her and ask her out. Be casual. Talk a little bit about anything to release some pressure and then close the deal. "Hey, I'm gonna go to [insert any place and/ or activity here] this saturday [for example]. And I was thinking it will be fun if you join." The message is important: you are communicating you are SURE that you are going to do your thing no matter what, and you considered her for join your activity, and you are SURE it'll be fun for her too.

The wording here is very important. You are not saying it with shyness, like "Can you maybe, if you want, hang out with me this saturday?"... sometimes it may work, but for better results try the other one.

Take your chances and go for her. The worst thing she will say is no. Don't take it personal, you will get your chance with someone else later. --- Or maybe she says YES and you two will have some fun together. Who really knows!!

I wasted months by no taking action with an acquaintance. I sensed something was going on with her (I noticed her gaze across the office -yeah, a coworker-) but I still wasn't sure if she was into me (this is the thing that I need to improve, honestly). Turns out she was/ still is into me. I took action one fucking day - FINALLY. We are dating not so long ago but it could happen waaaay sooner if I knew how to read her signals. I'm very lucky, let me tell you. And she's so sweet :)

Ya gotta get wayyyyy faster about turning interest into action. They're usually pretty good at noticing your interest, even when you try to hide it, so it's way less awkward to just put it out there from the get-go.

Your interaction will be always different from what you have imagined. Instead of making it the way you want, you need to feel the vibe and emotions between you and play along with the flow. You have known this girl for a year and now you want to ask her out, you need to soak with that context and act accordingly. A girl has probably about 4-5 other guys that like her excluding you. You gotta be quick, make an impression and land her. If she doesn’t show interest, it’s probably becoz she likes one of the other 5 guys better. Move on after that. My advice is to go ask out another 4-5 girls, and pick the one who takes the time to get to know you better. It’s a numbers game.

It's possible but I you're probably overthinking it. It's a simple fix by asking her out. When you ask her out just let her know that you didn't get long to talk to her before but you would like to get to know her. So definitely ask her out
