If you want something then put some goddamned effort instead of half-assing everything.

If you want him to invest don't treat him like free entertainment when you're bored.

Lol while there's the assumption that everyone on those apps is seeing other people, by telling him this you told him that he has a low priority for you.

Frankly you should get off those apps and learn how to socialize with real-world people because you seem to totally lack people's skills.

And if the most fun thing you can think of is talking with some tinder creeps, then it's a symptom of a much bigger problem. Go find some friends/hobbies.

Im genuinely confused at how you don’t know why he lost interest. I can’t see any other way to interpret your communication as anything short of bored. If I were him I would have taken it as a pretty obvious sign that you want him to leave you alone without spelling it out for him. In all honesty he probably hasn’t lost interest just feels like a chump for continuing to show interest while you treat him like an after thought. Any guy with a shred of self awareness is going to force himself to tone it down so he’s not embarrassing himself.

It was a big mistake to not hang out right away. And you went 2+ months without hanging out? Like something is up there sure he might be busy but 2 months? At minimum you shoukd try to meet up in like a week. I don't blame you for going back to a dating app at all. Intentions should be made right off the bat I mean it's a dating app...where people meet. For dating. Take it as a learning experience and move on, you're 21 there are a ton of guys out there who you could vibe with.

What should you do? Lol. Make your mind up girl. The problem is girls are indecisive and want entertainment and validation but don't want to invest in anything which is what you did.

I think call him out on it. Tell him that you wanted to meet up with him, but he didn’t seem interested in meeting. You don’t have to get into the length of time he takes to respond. Just say he seems to have lost interest, so you started talking to other people. But if he changes his mind, you’d still like to hang out. Just leave the door open if he wants to pursue you. If he doesn’t…well… he doesn’t.

You communicated that he’s just someone you text when you are bored. He was excited initially but now…it’s evident that he’s disappointed. Beside that, why would you tell him that you are taking to other guys? It’s a huge turn off for guys. Don’t do that. A combination of your lack of enthusiasm to meet and telling him this isn’t really helping you. Someone else mentioned you need people skills. No, what you need is common sense and you can attain this by cultivating empathy. Try to think “if you were him, how would it would have made feel” be considerate of others. And also, talking to a lot of guys might be entertaining but it takes away the Excitement of getting to know each other. It also helps you retain pair bonding ability. I understand it’s not for everyone but if you are talking to a guy, go on a date in real life to gauge the chemistry. It’s ok to say no and move on if you don’t feel it. Put some god damn effort!

Whatever, as a girl the best strategy when you are confused and the boy has shown interest is being as direct as you can. "Hey, let's grab a beer this friday, I want to spend time with you". That's it.
