Push all of this aside and approach women in the flesh. Online dating is very finicky. Girls will flake, guys will flake. It’s a shitty way of life. Getting to know people through txt is difficult and it doesnt have the same effect as in person because you cant read the context of how you are trying to deliver the message. What im trying to saw is that you cant read sarcasm on a phone screen or computer monitor. Just leave those kinds of jokes out of it or use emojis on the second one. Yes most people are trying to be funny but not everyone is funny that is also another issue.

#1 is, at best, just not funny. At worst, you sound racist. Your first impression should not run the risk of you sounding racist.
#2 isn't really funny either. You sacrificed a joke to try to make it super relevant to her profile. Robbing a bank is funny. Stealing her heart is funny. Typos aren't funny. Rob a bank instead.
