Go to bars with your friends with no intention of getting laid. Have fun with your friends. Order drinks, get food, laugh, joke around. This will naturally attract women to you, I promise.

The only strategy I have is: approach one member of the group (guy or girl) in a friendly way and, as quickly as possible, start talking to the other members of the group. If you only focus on one, they're gonna eventually feel like talking to you is a chore and want to return attention to their friends. Usually I use situational stuff to spark conversation.

From there, you can ask about the group members and figure if the guys are boyfriends or not. I like to spend a few minutes engaging multiple people in the group before focusing on the chick, otherwise my intentions are obvious. When I feel like the group is warm to me, I'll start talking to the girl I want. You'd be surprised how alot of guy friends will calmly back down when they get that short intro to know you're cool. As opposed to feeling up on a girl on the dance floor and then her friends barreling in to cock block.

In my experience, this is harder to pull off in nightclubs than bars or other social venues (nightclubs just do weird things to people's psyche).

Probably try different bars or go on a different night. One bar that was usually full of couples had a lot of women there with female friends when I went to Sunday night karaoke.

Also, clubs. Try learning to dance from YouTube videos and practicing at home.
