I think his point is you're stressing over something that doesn't concern you. Why is the way she's choosing to live her life going to affect you if you're deciding not to engage her? I think everyone, women and men, set high standards for who they want to spend the rest of their life with. I also believe that as both mature, the things they are looking for changes.
