Personally I would have started gym and workout way earlier it increased my self confidence and gave me an identity. I would have managed my finances well, like less debt. I shouldn't have missed opportunities to socialize and make friends.
If you are a guy, make sure that you have good girl friends don't expect anything from them apart from genuine good, honest conversation. Check your test levels if they are fucked up then you will not feel motivated for dating and sex which will impact your confidence. Make friends with guys who are good with girls, improve your life so that in any social situation you could add value.

I’m in college. Are you saying that having career is not the best way?
[–]Snoo-62854 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
College is just a degree not a career. Unless you are sure what you study is something you love. Even if that's the case, the overall text you will read and write on the test will be lost within a few weeks. Try to keep your debt minimum, go socialize, invest time in things that you really enjoy. Get part time jobs that you are interested in. The goal is to be around good people who you admire. Mentors that's why you are there. Be it your friend professor or co-worker. Someone who you admire. Find out your fears and plan to tackle them. This is my personal experience after spending 10 years and more than $1000000 in college. What job I do right now doesn't even require 10% of it.

I’m currently on scholarships and have no loans as well as live with my parents and 3 siblings. I work a part time job 2 days week, and I’m a founder of a chess club as well as an attendee of 2 other clubs and 6 organizations. Socially I’m doing okay but not like talking to people everyday. I only have 4 friends that I talk to at 3 times a week, not in class. And it’s really hard to get involved in campus activities since my weekend is booked for work and a club meeting. During the week, it’s obligations to family. I don’t really have to time to do thing I enjoy but play mobile games for YouTube

Ask yourself out of all those what you enjoy most focus on top 2 rest is crap.
[–]AuremYT 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Everything I enjoy, you would consider nerdy or boring. I’ve done sports here but I’ve beeen unable to do parkour since there is nothing to do
[–]Snoo-62854 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
No it doesn't matter if it's boring to others, do you enjoy it? If yes then ask him to join you, the worst he can say is no.
[–]AuremYT 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Wait a minute..you think I’m a girl? I’m a dude into girls my dude.I enjoy a lot of things that are boring like making codes are handing out to girls that I’m crushing on. If they accept it and aren’t weirded out, i can filter them out and so on.
[–]Snoo-62854 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Sorry for the misunderstanding. There is no time spent together in that entire code thing, what can you do together?
[–]AuremYT 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Oh, she said it was complicated so I just stopped talking to her except when she replies but even then, I’m distancing myself from her. I asked her in front of her friends if she was single and she said ‘It’s complicated’ but then said maybe I could teach her to play chess, but obviously she has no interest in that and was putting me down lightly

Whatever move on to the next girl, and don't be angry about he, smile and be friendly It's fine if she doesn't like you back. She still is a person and likes other people.
[–]AuremYT2 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Ik. I did 😂. The class around her that saw me doing this was disappointed tho so 😂

If you understand the fact that It might not last past college. What I am saying is don't go into a relationship looking for a soulmate or a gf just for the sake of a gf. Do not distract yourself from your goal of EXPLORATION which is what college is basically, exploration of your self, career interests and possibilities, etc. If you end up making anything other than this exploration your priority, you are fucked. I made the mistake of "falling in love" and making her my first priority, it's how we have seen our fathers treat our mothers. The difference being that she wasn't my wife, she wasn't the mother of my children, she was my gf, she was in college with the exploration mind set. She is now a successful YouTuber and I am struggling to hold down a job and wonder about all I missed out on in college.

My biggest regret is failing to explore and put myself out there in college. I had a long term partner who was an amazing person but I turned down a lot of opportunities to socialize with new friends and even travel because I was so attached. I turned down a gig making $94,000 a year straight out of college because I wanted to be with my partner and it would have required me to move to a different part of the country, a couple months later a friend lined up a job in a foreign country for me with accommodations paid for that would have been a once in a lifetime chance to travel and have fun working in a hostel and again I turned it down because I couldn’t stand the thought of being away. I look back on this years later and want to go back in time and shake 20 year old me for being stupid and turning down amazing opportunities because I was stupidly in love. If there’s any advice I can offer you it’s invest in yourself, get good grades, make connections, have fun, and when an opportunity presents itself to you JUMP. Only consider yourself because you’re young and free, one day you’ll have to factor in a partner and kids into all your decisions but while you’re young please please please be selfish.

Thier aren't good or bad girl. They are all human, just like you. It's all about priorities. You don't need to be a player, you being ambitious will attract ambitious girls who would want exactly what you want "nothing too serious" doesn't make you a player.

1 - Hit the gym, lift heavy, and get the body of your life.
It’s the best investment you are gonna do in your life. Having muscles and abs really makes things easier initially at least, you will be given more chances by girls and your approaches will be initially received better if you look fit. You will also look better as time goes on, whereas other people your age will only go downhill in terms of looks.
2 - Be more daring… You wanna take risks more often than not.
Those things you thought were a bit too risky to try, do them. The consequences won’t be as big as you initially thought they’d be.
3 - Sexualize more, escalate to a kiss or sex first, and don’t become friends with girls you want to hookup with.
Listen the key to getting laid is to not be afraid to be a sexual man, and express your sexual desires.
Don’t tell women you have emotional feelings with them or that you want something serious, instead tell them how they make you feel sexually, how they make you go crazy, how they excite you, how they turn you on, how they make you feel so hot…
Remember to go for a kiss or sex first, relationship should come after you have had sex first with them enough times.

Avoid wasting time on girls and focus on myself, my career, fitness, hobbies and just being happy being by myself.

Try to become the leader of a social club or the student government. I made this mistake during my undergrad and corrected it during my graduate degree. When you are the student body president, almost everyone knows who you are. Not only do people talk to you all the time, it's no mystery that it comes with a bit of status women appreciate, even if it may seem tiny.
[–]AuremYT 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I’m a founder of a chess club, I’m pretty sure nothing changed
[–]norwegiandoggo 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Yeah bro, because it's the fucking chess club 😂 pick something less nerdy. Clubs that also have a signiciant number of women in them
[–]AuremYT 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Hey chess is fun? I’m in the paranormal club which is 99% women and just me, but people like chess ♟ what do you want me to do, join the surfers club 99% dudes and 1% fun.
[–]norwegiandoggo 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I play chess is fun, and it's great. But don't expect to get women from being the president of the chess club.
[–]AuremYT 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It’s sounds so unfortunate. I’ve met girls in my past who approached me first due to chess, but college is a disappointment

As a senior college student who got no action (partly due to low sex drive but mostly due to me being a bitch) 1. Lift weights, I’m very small and just starting to lift now I wish I did earlier 2. Realize my low self confidence was an issue and get therapy for it (doing that rn) 3. Realizing that the women all had flaws and not just being gobsmacked about how good they looked 4. Not being scared of rejection (still working on it) 5. Actually speak to people and not be afraid or whatever could happen (also still working on it)

Less drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
[–]NervousGamedev 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Given less shits about what people thought about me and assume everyone is attracted to me unless otherwise stated. Not like I was a 10 or anything but a little confidence would've gone a long way. Knowing when to take a hint is important tho.
