She will respect you more if you move on.
[–]SexyNuggetz 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She will want what she can’t have. Tell her your good with being friends. Say that your sorry for acting so weird. It’s super unlike you.
[–]breadpops21 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Move on.

temporarily move on to other girls. Youll know the exact moment she figures out she fucked up.
[–]Fearless-Barber3498 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
But how would she know? Like on paper, I could just say things would be different ect, but obviously that would not attract her, so how would she know things would be any different, or even have interest again?
[–]ManhattanT5 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe she didn't make a mistake by deciding she doesn't like you romantically? Maybe she made a mistake by letting herself get too interested prematurely?
Either way, your path forward isn't to ignore what she said, it's to continue on playing the field. Whether or not she comes around doesn't matter.
[–]GroundbreakingAd8077 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
She's close with your flat mate he'll see you bring girls and he'll tell her
[–]Fearless-Barber3498 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Nah he wouldn’t, he’s closer with me and she knows that so it’s not something he’d go around telling
[–]GroundbreakingAd8077 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Then you can hint at it or bring a girl to parties she's also invited too
[–]TrendyLepomis 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
social media, cutting hang out time and saying i got a date and such, asking her suggestions where to take your date, etc
[–]surfershane25 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You’re trying to use logic to solve an emotional issue, that never works. She didn’t like how needy or fast it moved, do you think pursuing her further as soon as you can is honestly the way to get her back? You would be doing exactly what pushed her away. Taking your time with other people and being her friend and not pushing anything until maybe she realizes is by far your best bet.

Scientists discovered that it's easier to get out of a black hole than get out of the friendzone
[–]sweaty-pajamas 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well I guess I’m Matthew Mcconaughey from Interstellar bc the stars aligned and I’ve started dating my best friend! :D
[–]PondScum420 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think the friend zone just means the guy obsessing over the girl most of the time. Like if you listen to her and back off, and date other people she’ll likely become interested again at some point
[–]Mrcopeland25 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Stop putting her on a pedestal. She as a woman can’t commit that’s a red flag. But also the fact that you can’t let it go and haven’t had sex with her even is worse. Move on bro
[–]WolfKina 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The only way to erase the bad impression you left is acting the right way now. And since she broke up with you, the right attitude is to move on. So focus on your life and go have fun with other girls.
Exes will only want you back when they see you grew into a better person and that now there are other girls wanting you.
[–]merchant_of_mirrors 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You fucked up accepting friendship, best thing you can do is move on and talk to other girls. You haven't even had sex with her yet so moving on should be easy. If she comes back, great, if not whatever
I know I did, do I try and say something now? Doubt we’ll be talking much anyway even though i accepted it, I think her offering it was more her way of being civil since she said to my flatmate that she’s glad we’re civil
[–]merchant_of_mirrors 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No just stop acting like her friend, hang out with other girls. Odds are she'll notice and realize she misses you. But you have to be willing to walk away and mean it
[–]Hiko_Seijuro92 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well you have two/ three options :
- Either you stop thinking about her and you move on . Still being in contact with her showing her that other women got into your life maybe she could return to you . - Go to talk to her and try all you can once and for all to get her back which could cause the destruction of your friend relation - Mind about her answer to know whether this was only an excuse. Unfortunately women are strong to lie to herself or invent lies ..

Just move on bro

Same thing happened to me this year context was a little different. At the end of the day if she wants XYZ and had the balls to tell you, even if the reason for it may or may not be true there’s nothing you can do or say to change her mind.
Plus, if she’s feeling this way one month in, would it have worked for 1 year? 110% no. 2 years? Still no.

Don’t be anyone’s backup plan. It never ends well.
[–]willgo-waggins 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude I’ve got one of these going right now.
We started as FWB +. She wanted to “get serious”. She got scared of her own feelings. I backed it off to “friends” and FWB again. Meantime I enjoy myself and let her work through her stuff. We’re going away for a ski weekend next weekend. Shits fine and I’m still a free agent for now.
Give her her space and time and don’t over contact and play cool and you have options. She’ll figure herself out of it and you don’t sweat it.

You went about it so wrong… you messed up, just move on.
[–]EducationalPie236 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Okay friendship yes friendship is good best friends is better that's how you meet your mate lose the jealous seed lose the jealousy or you'll never truly be free or radical on stand individual and truly love rock on

Ignore the shit out of her. Let her chase. If she doesn't, get with other girls or show interest to other girls in your social circle.
[–]Bingo_is_the_man 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You say you took time to work on neediness? What does that even mean if you’re chasing a chick who isn’t in to you. Working on neediness means having other options. Don’t waste your time in this, just move on and find a lady who likes you.

Cut out. Improve yourself. Focus on personal development. If she reaches out, then so be it. If not, you will find more as a result of your growth.
Ok I agree, what are my interactions with her though? I’ll inevitably see her on campus, she lives a minute away, she’ll probably be in my flat at times since she’s super close with my flatmate ect
[–]ectbot 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc."
"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are etc., &c., &c, and et cet. The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.

These aren’t my words but they’ve helped me; they’re from a comedian named Patrice O’Neal. He says be righteously honest about yourself and your happiness without playing games and attaching your ego or happiness to women you’re interested in. This has helped me out a lot in getting out of the friend zone. Whenever a girl friendzoned me, I did not keep constantly calling or texting her to hang out or come to my place, I just did things with my friends by going out and having fun as well as talking as talking to other women that I’m interested in and go on dates here and there. Sometimes the girl who friendzoned chats me back up, I’m not in the same head space I originally was with her and we have casual flings and relationships. It doesn’t work all the time, but you need to prioritize your happiness after she says no. Good Luck OP
