Feminism is bullshit, women are already allowed to do anything they want and pursue any lifestyle they feel so, which is correct. Modern feminism is a power play, not a social rights movement. It forces women to adopt certain beliefs that benefit specific political groups.

I’ll be honest - someone who doesn’t identify as a feminist is a red flag, as a friend, as a potential lover, as someone I might introduce to someone.

Feminism is a political movement with clear goals (reproductive freedom, pay equity, preventing domestic violence) that gets conflated by messy cultural messaging. It’s a big enough word that everyone in this thread is basically talking about something different.

Some guys hear women complain about predatory behaviour and compare that to their own experiences with women and think that any expression of sexuality is the problem. But it’s a nuanced thing, sexuality. Learn active consent and with time, confidence in how you’re being perceived and this should be a fairly intuitive thing

I feel the same. There's just a thin line of difference between being playful and being a creep. Moreover that line is different for every women. I would rather be on the safer side and not initiate such sexual things, than take the risk of being intimate with a woman not knowing her boundaries.

Yup women push narratives in society to protect themselves. If a woman can't raise a kid without the presence of a man they're forced to get married. If she's bother by f*ck boys a lot narratives are pushed that are against men becoming sexual with women.

I feel the same way… I feel like I can count a number of times where there was probably an opportunity, but I didn’t feel right by it, so I let the sexual tension die. One particular time was because she was drunk and I had no idea how drunk she was.

I think that we have the ability to initiate it, but it is a fine line between being a fuck boy and being genuinely interested in having a sexual relationship with someone.

Unfortunately for me, I haven’t been able to get to that point with anybody where it may become sexual in around 5 years now. Constantly moving around for jobs makes it harder and this pandemic certainly didn’t do me any favors. Good luck out there

Everyone in this thread is a joke. Feminism isn't the cause of your problems. Feminism is just a concept like 'healthy'.

Women aren't going for you because you don't escalate or aren't being attractive. If you act like a creep then people will see you as a creep. Has nothing to do with the concept of 'feminism'.
