Have more life experiences. Travel. Be spontaneous. Talk to older people and learn from their mistakes and successes. Make your own mistakes. Grow from them.

Interests. Interests make people interesting. It's pretty simple. A diverse range of hobbies, passions, and lifestyle activities.

Person A:

"I work at a hospital so I don't have time for much else! I can tell you literally everything about x-ray machines though!"

Person B:

"I ride horses, I go hiking a lot, I like to read textbooks on philosophy, I have a huge pokemon card collection, I grow bonsai trees, and I cook great carribean food."

Even if you LOVE x-ray machines, you would probably find Person B more interesting. They have more to talk about, more to teach you, and more potential experiences to share with you in the future.

I think this answer is subjective. We find people who can relate to our experiences and hobbies as interesting. I might not necessarily find people who can't relate to my hobbies and interests as interesting.

The interest is in the eye of the beholder I believe. They actively give interest to something or not, it's relative to everyone, what interests you might not interests another and vice versa
