Ok so I've been lurking on this sub for a while, have been on and off about trying it out, pretty shy, god fearing dude, etc. etc.

One thing I have taken from you guys though, is taking the initiative and manning the fuck up, which leads me to my tale.

I got on my bus to leave campus and go home, no plan in mind, just wanted to go home and go to sleep. The bus was packed plus some, and then this girl got on and she looked like she really wanted a seat (body language and looking around and stuff), so, since my dad would always give his seats to women, I thought why not.

But I hadn't. I was shy and nervous. I told myself I would do it when the bus stopped. But then I thought to myself, "If I don't give it to her now, I won't ever give it to her." (No innuendos intended). So I just got up and said, "Miss, excuse me, but you can take my seat." She said thank you, in a kinda half-ass fashion, but I didn't care, pure chivalry was flowing through me!

One stop later a few dozen people get off and seats empty, so I take one that was across from and facing her direction, unintentionally of course, and as I sat down our eyes met and she was smiling. I smiled back and her smile got wider, and then I broke eye contact.

Now, one thing I forgot to mention up top, is that I'm a bitch. Like, a biggity biggity bitch. I will not and have never cold approached a girl unless she has shown some sort of initial warmth or openness. Like this girl on the bus did; all she did was smile and I was like, "Fuck she might like me!"

The rest of the bus ride I'm just sitting there hoping that maybe we get off at the same stop so I can talk to her and maybe get her number, (keep in mind its because she smiled and kept making eye contact with me). But then she gets off the stop before me!!! I'm like fuck oh well.....................................................................................

"WAIT ONE FUCKING SECOND!!! MY STOP IS MAYBE 5 MINUTES AWAY MAX FROM THIS STOP!!! WHAT AM I, A BITCH?!?!" (well, we already know the answer to that question, but whatever.)

I jump off the bus and jog toward her and just tap her on the shoulder and just ask her what her name is and then I give her mine.

The first thing she says is how surprised she is that some guy was doing this to her (+ Check) and I was all like, "Ah well it's the phase of the moon!" (lol no I really said I was surprised too, and that I suddenly had a bunch of courage etc.)

So we just walked toward her place and I, quite literally, was just being myself, asking her genuine questions about her and what brought her to America (she's Chinese [+Check]), and what her major was, etc. And she kept the conversation alive by mentioning some stuff about her like how she just got back from her swimming class (as a swimmer + Check), and stuff like that.

Finally we get to the point where we are parting ways, so I just straight up asked her for her number and she said, "Sure. No guy has ever done something like this to me." (# Check-and-mate) I told her it was the first time ever that I had done something like this to a girl so we were both new to this.

Then I remembered my phone had died (OH NO!) so I just asked her to write her number down and I gave her mine and I told her I would text her later in the week to set up a date (followed by a "you know, nothing intense or anything" I meant to say serious, but basically I was telling her that is was just gonna be a chill date because Chinese are all super serious about Boyfriend/Girlfriend stuff) and she said sure!

So now I'm super excited, and the whole rest of the walk I was just singing, "LAND MINES! HAVE TAKEN MY SIGHT! TAKEN MY SPEECH! TAKEN MY HEARING! TAKEN MY ARMS! TAKEN MY LEGS! TAKEN MY SOUL! LEFT ME WITH LIFE IN HELL!!!!!!" I don't know why I sang that, but it's a damn good song.

Also as a fun note, I had a super hard erection the whole damn time I was after her...
