How would the same guy react if you were making fun of him? He would either ignore it or have fun with it. He's confident with himself, and knows that there is nothing about him specifically that made him a target for mockery. So he is just gonna join in on the fun.

What I always do whenever someone gives me some look is just to mouth "what's this b*tch lookin' at" with a light, confident smile (like I've slept with their wife without then knowing lol). They always look the other way for some reason.... Guess maybe they didn't expect a cocky response? Lol... I researched into it and a stern look at the guy while stopping the machine would've been the most congruent. On the other hand, why stop my workout because of a low life. But if I thought that way, it wouldn't bug me now.
