Don't do this! It makes you seem way too available and needy. Stressing that "she's forgotten" is not going to help with your conveying neediness.

As for the date, I generally recommend setting up dates only one day in advance for this very reason. It keeps the iron hot, and you don't have to worry about overtexting etc. But sometimes it's unavoidable. TofuTofu's advice is perfect, "See you tomorrow!" or the like.

One of my buddies helped me with this, I used to get flaked on all the time, happens to the best of us.

Next time, just seed it with a, yeah I'll call you the day of just to make sure we are still doing XXXX. The idea is that you aren't confirming her, you are confirming that you can also still do it because you are a busy mother fucker, and awesome shit comes up all the time. If you call her and she starts to be all 'yeaaahhh I can't goooo....' cut her off and say you are going to your friends gallery opening instead, and you need to cancel. If she invites herself, tell her it was closed invite, sorry.

Tofu's is great for a solution now. Do that.

With my schedule, I usually don't like re-confirming or reminding people about meetings. (At work, my PA handles things like this.)

However, I do have to constantly reschedule and there is usually a fair amount of changes to my schedule so I would usually leave the location of dates or outings open and only confirm the day and time I'm meeting people.

That has also worked as a good anti-flake measure. I'd usually text people where I will be and make arrangements to meet a few hours before. If a girl's going to flake, she'd do it then rather than leave me waiting at Starbucks or whatever. (In which case, I can use my time to do something else.)
