Seriously I just read the whole facebook game thread and it's just so.. tragic. There's no fun, it's just a superficial game.

My ex, who I was with for two years sent me this message randomly on facebook:

"hey, u dnt no me, so dont panic that u do and have forgotten and now have to go thru the akward hi how r u, whilst frantically tryin to place me somewhere! im kd anyway! and when i get bored i msg friends of friends and u r the chosen one, how does it feel? a very annoying habit i no and for this i would apologise but i cant be bothered! anyway hope ur good, and uve managed to relieve my boredom for the minute it took me to write this msg so thanks! maybe chat sometime if ur bored and feel the need to reply! x"

Apart from the text speak (she loved it, despite being able to spell - no idea why) it's just fun and bubbly and made me want to reply.

What I came here to ask is, can a guy send a message -like- this to some random female friend of a friend or is it only something females can get away with?
