Doing pick up as an introvert

I regard myself as an introvert.

I'm not especially scientific about my approach to this stuff, though. If I see a girl I like I remind myself that 'generally speaking, people I like and admire will like and admire me too' (that's not arrogance, it's just a healthy belief to hold).

Second, I take the pressure off myself. If this girl doesn't have anything interesting to say to a stranger who has come over to introduce themselves, then I figure that what I have in front of me is a chronically boring person. She does me a favour by withholding her number.

My biggest strategy is to realize that I don't need to be anything "extra" in order to interact and have fun with a girl.

I don't need to be extra funny, exciting, interesting, and witty in order to be attractive. What this means is that i can be at ease with however I am feeling at that moment, and I don't have to force anything to happen, things will happen organically.

In practice, this means that I don't have to force myself to be funny if I don't feel like it, or if the opportunity doesn't present itself. This means I don't need to fill the conversation with exciting stories. This means I don't have to feel like I need to present myself in a certain way to be interesting.

The result is that I can feel at ease with the "normalcy" of pickup and dating. I can talk about mundane, day-to-day stuff without feeling like I'm being boring. I can enjoy the moment without feeling like I need to be entertaining. I can be what I am, as I am, without feeling inadequate.

Above all, this strategy made me see that there's really nothing wrong or disadvantageous for being introverted.

Realizing that it is completely normal to talk about things that could seem irrelevant or "useless" as an introvert, like talking about weather, clothes, TV shows that i barely watch etc ... to create social interactions and laugh about it

God I wish I knew. All I'm figuring out is what doesn't work.

The most recent thing I learned was that when going out by myself getting drunk is not enough to make me sociable and outgoing. I'm still really quiet and insecure.

Solo pickups are a nightmare to me. I can do it, but it´s really draining and uncomforable. I realized that my game is at its best when I´m comfortable

To achieve that, I usually bring a friend along. Not really as a wingman mind you, since when it comes to seduction, my friends.....well, suck. But talking to them for a while, laughing and having a good time gets me in the zone, which allows me to open with more confidence. Also, if I get rejected, I know that my buddy will be there to make me feel better

I still wish to work on my solo game though. I can´t always rely on friends for this

i went to a party tonight and i tried a new strategy: i gave myself a time limit of how long i could stay. i said "okay, i'll be here for four hours then I'll leave". That meant when I started feeling exhausted after only an hour of talking i was able to look at my clock and say "ok, only three more hours!" and give myself more energy. of course, by the time I had 45 minutes remaining, i was wishing I had more time. it was almost like my extrovert self made a bargain with my introvert self - "ok, just be social a little longer then you can go home and read, play video games, or whatever." in the last 20 minutes i ended up number closing a pretty cute girl, so it was a good night :)

I find that approaching very attractive women is my boost then every girl is approachable, that and doing a vocal tonality check on the spot usually helps me too, absolutely love hearing my voice having a lot of power. But I must say I am somewhat ambiverted leaning towards introvert, depending on the venue, I can draw energy in very socially dense environments however I draw.my best energies from personal time or in daygame environments.

Same as extroverts: you need to present your best self, and be interesting. Not all girls will go for you, and that's fine.

I'm probably going to get some heat for saying this...but I ditched the night scene almost entirely. I get girls from daygame and Instagram mostly. Both are far better matches for my personality, and I've had a lot of success.
