With both sexes, when you straight up use logic, you have failed to empathize with the other person's perspective. A more effective way is to validate their feelings and, as you said, de-escalate the argument to one where a discussion can take place.

I agree with you that using logic to argue with women is not very effective. They are arguing from an emotional standpoint, and using logic is like communicating with a different language. As in this case, you have failed to validate and address the emotional issue.

I firmly disagree with the strategy of being goofy and changing the mood to a light one. This will only work in specific circumstances, but fails as a one-sized-fits-all conflict resolution approach. The more effective strategy is to identify the emotional need and address it.

Example

Her: I can't believe you forgot to take out the garbage!

You: (playfully) Oh, chill out, sweetie. I'll do it after dinner. I promise.

Her: Don't tell me to chill out. You said you'd do it yesterday!

What's the issue? She's not really mad that you didn't throw out the garbage. She's worried that she's with a man who neglects his responsibilities (beta behavior) however small they may be. Thus, she reacts on an emotional level.

The problem with trying to be goofy or create a light mood is that it ignores her emotional need to feel secure that she's with a responsible, high value man rather than a lazy, careless beta. Trying to make light of the issue does not satisfy her emotional need.

A better response

Her: I can't believe you forgot to take out the garbage!

You: I'll do it after dinner.

Her: You said you'd do it yesterday!

You: (recognizing the emotional need) Look, I must've gotten carried away with work and was just so tired yesterday after coming home. We both know I'm not usually this careless. I just need to recharge when I come home from a hard day at work. You can understand that, right, sweetie? I'll take care of it after dinner. I promise. wink (Can go into a discussion about more effective/nicer ways of reminding you in the future).

There's only 5 words you need to say when you're in a fight with a woman. Right after she makes a huge argument in her favor you say "I know... that's my point."

To be honest, conversations don't happen logically. We don't live in a logical society. People speak with emotions, not logic. Most marketing tactics are completely illogical if thought through, yet they still hit all of us. This is something I personally have noticed over time. So when you're speaking to people, try and keep logic on the down, as tough as that sounds.

Setting aside seduction and pickup, though, logic is also a dangerous and risky tool in the realm of science and experimentation. Things should be brought forward and experimented with because there is almost always factors that we don't account for, even if the situation does seem logical at the time.

If you get in an argument with a women you've already lost even though you may have proven your point or have the stronger argument. If you get upset and angry the women has already won

You know what? I am very aware of all this, but fuck it I will keep fighting the good fight and use logic first, emotions *second* when it comes to resolving a dispute.

Yes this often makes discussions more lengthy and heated, and will get her annoyed by me, but I am so frustrated by irrationality that I am willing to take that risk.

Don't use logic with a woman PERIOD. They are ruled and governed by emotion. Change her mood and you have changed her mind.
