I usually stop in my local comic shop about once a week, and the girl who works there is very pretty, kind, and funny, someone you would love to be friends with. I had an idea about asking her if she would be interested in getting coffee sometime, so I went through with it today. We had an excellent conversation, it was very smooth and then I asked her if she would like to grab coffee sometime but she said her boyfriend is picky, and to be honest I'm not upset about her having a boyfriend I was just happy that today I had the gumption to have a conversation with a girl who intrigued me. She told me that I'm swell and I feel if she didnt have a boyfriend the answer would have been yes. I dont see this as a loss , I just see it as a step a towards my goal which is to be comfortable speaking with new people, especially women.

TLDR: I finally had the balls to ask a girl out today and she had a boyfriend but that's okay, this really helped my confidence.
