When it comes to courting women from my experience, they are usually receptive but do not take initiative to text or call first before the first date.

However, after the first date, they are very open and make it clear they want you.

Personally i think genuine desire puts too much emphasis on looks, when looks is not what makes you, well , you. You are a combination of your traits, humor, intelligence, confidence, talent, charisma I'm inclined to believe these are as important as looks.

Im not saying genuine desire is a myth, i am saying that if you dont sell yourself well and limit yourself to your looks, you will not succeed with women.
