So here’s the deal. I have no problem meeting girls at the bar, connecting, talking for 10-20 min and getting a #. Did it 3 times this weekend, have done it plenty of times in the past. I can walk up to anyone and start a convo, night game’s fairly easy for me on a surface level. It doesn’t ever really materialize into anything tho.

Here’s how I usually play it out once I get their #. I’ll text them my name that night + where I met them so they know who it is. Then I reach out the next day with a light conversation starter. Game plan is to chat over text for a bit to briefly re-establish a basic rapport and then ask them for a drink. They seem interested enough during the evening, but I don’t seem to get any answers the next day. On a rare occasion they might reply once but ghost immediately after, aborting any conversation before it begins.

Not really looking for a random hookup or to take anyone home that night, looking for establish trust before I get to that level with anyone. So my questions are:

  1. Am I not talking long enough/giving myself enough time to escalate or leave an impression?
  2. Am I looking in the wrong place for what I want?
  3. Am I using the wrong process to keep them long term, IE should I be looking to take them home that night?
  4. Is this just the nature of the game and I’m working with a small sample size?
  5. Anything else I could be doing better?

I don’t need any tips on escalating kino or specific word usage or whatever, I’m perfectly comfortable managing a conversation and crafting a flirty vibe, it’s just making something of the interaction after we’ve parted ways that I struggle with. How do I improve that?
