Here's a tip dude. Whenever i catch myself thinking in circles or trying to talk myself out of something i remember this "JFDI" ... just fucking do it. be afraid, but fucking do it anyways, not for the sake of "scoring" or achieving anything, just do it for the sake of doing. there is no consequence, go in with the knowledge that you will eventually fail miserable, but it doesnt matter, just fucking do it.

You should try this simple exercise. Try to get rejected 20 times in as hilarious a way as possible. Do this for self amusement. Them realize that if you have only a 5% chance of success at getting a girl's number, then by now you will have on average one girl's number. If you open 20 girls a week, you will have one new phone number a week. If only 10% of those will get you laid, you will sleep with a new girl every 2 and a half months. Also realize that the attractiveness of a girl does not matter on how easy they are approach. Your goal is to get 20 rejections, the worse the rejection, the better. After that, report to seddit and we can continue to the next step.

Simple, really. With friends around there's a lot more work involved. Your reasoning is as follows: When you approach a girl alone, then you can say there's a 50/50 chance of her responding positively or negatively. But when you approach a group of 3 girls for example, you've got 0.5³ =0.125 (or 12.5%) chance of them all responding to you favorably, and if one girl responds negatively then the rest will follow.

The trick is to remember that the percentages mean nothing, and that there's only two outcomes whether its a group of girls or a one girl: you either get blown out and live to try again, or your advance is welcomed.

Obviously there are specifics when you approach a group (ex. don't give her the attention at first, don't ignore her friends etc) but I'll leave that part to you.

I've been there, but I'm slowly moving on. It's not just with girls that I bail myself out, it's in all sort of things. Sport, school etc. /r/Getmotivated did work for me.

Listen to that voice inside you, and put it aside. Your inner voice will always give you good reasons to not approach, and they are all true, for you at that moment. And you should approach anyway.

After you do a few approaches, and discover that failure isn't going to kill you, then you start to learn something important: that feeling you are interpreting as fear, is attraction for the woman, and the signal you should approach.

The term is called "Approach Anxiety" and there are plenty of resources available to read up on it, and different ways to overcome it.
