Walk with a purpose
Move those shoulders/take up space

And if all else fails, imagine you've got a giant cock and walk as if you're trying to wrap it around your legs with it as you walk. That will get the hips moving and should help give you "swagger".

The way I did it was pretty simple on paper- I began turning my mental self-image into that of my ideal badass.

As a fan of metal, I have always wanted to be the frontman of a metal band, smoking weed, drinking, and rocking people's faces on a nightly basis. Johan Hegg is my go-to description of a dude who is metal-as-fuck, our version of having colossal swag. I started listening to music that made me feel badass, and my natural demeanor changed over time to reflect that. I walk with purpose, I walk like I have more important places to be, even when I most certainly don't. My natural "resting" face is a sort of calm scowl that says "uninteresting people need not apply".

My point is this- if you can make the mental image of yourself have exaggeratedly badass qualities, your outward personality will change to reflect that. In essence, it is believing you have swag that gives you swag- believing it infallibly, without question.

Somewhere in the HSDJ bible there's a bit about walking with swagger.

Go about 3/4 of your normal speed, and as you walk, move your hands a bit in front and behind your body. Not so much that it looks ridiculous, but just a bit. Find a mirror and try it out, I like it myself.
