I've recently started going out on solo trips to a bar by my apartment on the occasional Friday night.

I'm a pretty talkative person, and really have no issues chatting with people or integrating myself into groups. I'll usually leave with a couple numbers, and occasionally with someone.

I just started checking out seddit, and it made me think about how these interactions usually start. The bar I go go is very crowded, so it's hard to not interact with people. Often I'll just walk up to a table and ask if I can join. Other than that, I'm realizing that I don't really approach much. People seem to comment and tell me that I look like someone else, or mention something about whatever I'm drinking.

Do you find yourself getting approached? And is it generally by people that you're interested in talking to?
