I just say, would you like to exchange contact info? and if she says yes I hand her my phone. Or I ask, are you on Instagram? And then hand them my phone. Phone number is maybe the better move, but in general you're kinda just ensuring there's an option on her end to see you again if she's interested. Most of the time, it usually will go nowhere, but its still important. I'm not quite sure if women are just being nice, they have a really long list of leads, or if I'm just way down on their list of leads, but its frustrating. Personally I just shoot my shot one time via text or instant message, if they reciprocate great, if not I remove myself as an option and I never message or reply again.

Not sure if this is how most women operate, but I feel like they collect options like Pokemon, and if you wait around they will indeed end up hitting you up. Personally, I don't ever wait around. We're either going out, or we're not, but they don't get to keep me in their rolodex as an option should they get bored or their #1 prospect doesn't work out.
