My solution although you can't stop flaking I always text a girl about 2 hours before the date something along the lines of " let me know when you're on the way" so I don't have to bother going or wasting any more of my time if I don't receive a response.

Just call her up 30 minutes before the date and check in on her and ask her with your voice if she's ready for the date. Texting can be ghosted really easily. That's what I did with my previous dates and some girls were excited to answer my calls, others felt uncomfortable talking to me on the phone, moreover dates with them went sour haha

There is a cost-benefit to that.

Also I see this working better on ~18-22 year olds, as women see many tricks and games and with experience might see this as a trick to reduce flake rate.

Try to change your outlook a little. If a woman doesn’t want to show up that okay. Ask her if everything is okay then wish her well or keep her in your circle as a casual friend. There is a decent chance that they will just don't care and ghost you anyway, figuring out some unreal excuse later on. I would say that you should do the opposite, make it easy and smooth for her to decline your date, but she will face adequate consequences, no sweet words and no second chance (unless she reschedule percisely herself and feel really sorry about that). You would like your partner to be honest, decisive and caring about your perspective, right?
