Hey guys! I have a question about sliding into the DM'S on insta. The question is how to actually do it? I've read that replying to stories is great, and I've tried it before. The girl replied but after a couple of texts the conversation died and she stopped replying.

Every advice on text game is that you shouldn't actually have a conversation on text, and that the purpose of text game is to get the girl out on a date, that's great except that when I'm dming a girl I don't really know that well, just setting up a date out of nowhere seems counterproductive since she doesn't really knows me that well. At the same time, asking her questions and trying to keep a conversation going seems needy, so I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: There's 3 girls I'm interested in, they used to be classmates that I never new that well, we follow each other on instagram except for one girl that doesn't follow me back I've had short conversations with all 3 just by replying to their stories, but like I said, the conversations all kind of died. Never tried asking them out because I felt it would come out of nowhere.
