To be honest it probably looks better than when you were balding, unless you have a giant cone head.

It will affect your dating in the sense that you will attract different women: those who prefer or like or don't mind dating bald guys.

Since I work as a dating photographer I've tested thousands of pictures of guys on photofeeler. On that site, women rate guys on attractiveness.

What I noticed is that when I have the bald guy wear a beanie or cap ; they tend to score slightly higher on attractiveness than when they're bald (most bald guys, but not all guys). The difference in attractiveness seems to be about 15-20% lower on average when displaying their bald head. So it can make dating a bit harder but should not be massive.

Also encouraging is that one guy who displayed his bald head scored a 9.7 out of 10. Top 3% of men. So clearly some people can be hot as fuck while being bald. It's therefore not certain that you will experience that 15-20% drop like some other guys do.

When you're bald you also need to update your wardrobe and possibly gain muscle and maybe a slight tan. Being bald can make some guys look a bit sick. Especially if they're skinny, pale, don't have a beard, low muscle mass, and swim in slightly too big "normal" / nerdy clothing. Then they can easily look like they have cancer. Balding also makes you look older. If you also add glasses that will age you even more in appearance. Adding a beard will also age you even more - as will adding size. That can be a pro or con depending on what women you're going for. Just something to be mindful of. Balding is an age cue.

So when you're bald you should consider things like gaining a lot of muscle mass, possibly bronzers / spray tan if you're very pale, having a beard, not wearing glasses, and wearing clothes that are a bit tight fitting and badass. Being bald is associated with masculinity. So you can play that up with more masculine clothing as well.

You say you're confident, but you literally said you're feeling anxious about how you will be perceived because you're now bald. That's something to work on because your self-esteem has taken a hit, understandably. That said, if you did want to regrow some hair, derma rolling and using rosemary oil has been shown to be effective. Minoxidil also works, but it comes with a long list of side effects, including heart problems and further hair loss if you stop using it.

From experience, some women like it. Also if you have style and good face and muscle you have nothing to worry about you will get the hottest girls. But you will need to work harder, rely less on online and build your confidence. Btw if women say something about your baldness you’re going to get laid if you know how to react
