There’s this girl in one of my college classes. For the last few weeks or so she had been giving me signs of interest, or at least I perceived her to be, she was looking at me in class, glancing at me when leaving class, etc.

Then, one day she sat right where I normally sit, so I sat next to her. In all honesty I took this as a move on her part, because we have discussions within each group and she moved into my group by sitting right where I sit.

So, after class I went up to her and started a conversation. She mentioned her boyfriend in the first sentence. She was still super nice to me but it was clear either she was taken or not interested. Whatever, yeah it sucked but I know I have value as a man so I wasn’t stressing about it.

Then today, I walked into class, and she looked at me, I looked back at her and she smiled at me, and then looked down. So I’m just like, “okay, maybe she is just being nice or something?” Idk man. And after class when my friend and I were leaving it definitely seemed like she lingered around us, but I’m not 100% sure though. I wanted to talk to her, but she had previously made it clear she has a bf so I just left it alone.

Maybe I’m looking too much into the body language?

It’s like I’m getting mixed signals here or something. Should I just leave her alone? Should i talk to her casually? Idk. I know some of you are probably cringing and pulling your hair out but I’m just new to this sort of thing. I could use some advice.
