In your experience, how many people actually love deep conversation and thinking as much as feeling?

I dunno man, might be the women you're hitting on. Over half my exes loved deep conversations. Topic didn't matter. May very well be the place you're picking them up. If some girl in the bar tells me she likes deep convos it's probably safe to say she just wants to sound deep. Same thing with dating apps, it just sounds good. Most people who actually love deep conversations don't mention it until right after a deep conversation. At least that's what I've noticed anyways.

When you say "deep chat" you're referring to something intellectually deep. When a woman says "deep chat" she's referring to something emotionally deep.

You can merge the two together and have an intellectually deep chat that is also emotionally deep. Men value information, sense, knowledge, solutions. Generally women don't find these aspects as interesting, they want to feel something no matter what it is. So when you talk guy "deep" make it also women "deep" by expressing something emotional attached to the information.

E.g if you're talking about history, guy version. "We only really have the importance on hygiene that we do now because of what happened in the dark ages. There was so much disease and death..."

Girl version: "Imagine living during the dark ages, it would have been so scary."

- voice emphasises just how dire it would have been.

"Their hygiene was so bad back then..."

The difference is now she can feel something rather than just listening to information. Its actually also more engaging for guys to listen to information this way too. Although we also value just raw information.

I think it’s clear that most people spend as little time as possible thinking. Most girls who say they want “deep conversations” really just want to feel connected to someone and to hear someone agree with them about the things they care about.

I absolutely love conversations and debates about all sorts of things. I rarely have them though because either most people don’t know as much about something as they think they do, they’re not interested in really diving into it, or they get upset when you don’t agree with them and think they’re clever.

Here's the thing though. Deep conversations are EXHAUSTING when there's an imbalance of knowledge or interest. If you're coming at her with modern interpretations of Kierkegaard or musings on the philosophical implications of non-Euclidean geometry, unless she shares an equally deep passion for those exact same things she is going to get burnt out on the conversation 5 minutes in, and looking for reasons to get the hell away from you 5.25 minutes in.

That's why cliche "hot topics" are easy to talk about, because they are accessible. It's what everyone talks about, so it's not hard to have a somewhat informed opinion. The more "out of the box" you go, the more you risk railing on about niche subjects that only you have an informed opinion on, and now you're no longer having a conversation - you're ranting. Which is unfair, because it then puts pressure on her to come up with a totally uninformed opinion on the spot in order to placate you and make you feel secure in her intellect. And because her opinion is less informed, she is more likely to be "proven wrong", like an adversary or someone "lesser", like a student...not like a potential partner. It is still not a conversation, but rather now it's a lecture. I promise you, 99.999% of women will sooner just say "fuck that shit" and find someone who is not going to make them feel intellectually bullied.

"Deep conversations", in terms of dating lingo, is self defeating - truly intelligent people understand it is nothing more than code for "I want to feel intellectually superior at all times", and avoid that shit like the plague.

Lighten up, and learn how to appreciate wit and cleverness in a shallow conversation topic rather than dry bruteness in a deep conversation, otherwise you're gonna be stuck talking to yourself for a long time.

You might be smart. You'll find that most women are not. Even the ones born with the gift often neglect it.

The smart and deep girls are out there, but even they are guided by emotion. If you find one that's not, it's like dating a guy with a girl body. You can't win.

Find a girl who likes deep conversations sometimes, but she's still a girl and you have to treat her as such.

As per experience with the ladies m8, they seemed more vulnerable to wantin’ a bigger mental connection rather than charismatic connections or physical m8tey. It sure gave me time to open up about traumas with those past lasses

in my experience the people who always brag about how much they enjoy deep conversations are the same people who will spend their days talking about things like gossiping/anything sex related/how much they hate school.Im 17 and whenever im done spending time near them i ask myself "what did i gain from this interaction?" On the other hand i dont want to act like the embodiment of negativity and act like a nerd. But i physically cannot bring myself to join them when they ask me to since i feel like im in a constant state of losing braincells. I really hope i find people who i can passionately talk with when i move in a bigger city and get in college. As for the reference of the girls/boys distinction, i think its least to say that in 21th century its both funny and alarming that theres still people thinking said sexes have any significant differences.Whatever sex has the "leading" role in society will eventually "wear off" as history has shown.Since i was in kindergarten, i have always been surrounded by strong smart women and passive men...from my friends’ parents,teachers,relatives,mutuals,partners,etc...I dont think it has anything to do with their abilities its just that they have been ensured by the patriarchy that things will always work out for them since theyre men...anyways excuse my english if i have any mistakes its cs im from europe
