I haven't been on dating apps for a while and wanted to try Instagram instead. I had decent success on Tinder in the past.

I would follow and message random girls, roughly in the 20-45 age range. I'm in my late twenties myself. Good job, tall, in decent shape, good style, hairline etc...

A good portion accepted my follow request and actually followed back. But out of the 10 girls I messaged I didn't get any replies back. Only some dumb thumbs up emojies at most. And mind you I didn't message any influencers, only normal girl in the 500-2k follower range.

I live in Scandinavia and only messaged local girls btw. Whenever I messaged asian girls I was succesful nearly every time.

So yeah I am very confused. Only issue that I can think of is my profile. I only have a few posts that are all high quality portraits.

Did anyone else here have similar experiences?
