Is lots of rejection normal?

Rejection in general is normal, what matters is how you deal with it.

I am curious as to what you mean by lots of rejections in terms of time span? over a month? or one night?

If you are talking about in one night yeah, there is a very good chance you will get rejected a few times before you get somewhere or till you have to go home.

Some people are in relationships, you are not their style, they are not searching or a number of different reasons.

Of course rejection also varries person by person based on how attractive you are, and how confident you are, and I don't mean caricatur creepy confident, I mean how you carry yourself and show that you are happy with who you are.

Attractiveness also accounts for how you maintain yourself and how you are dressed.

If one or the other is lacking you will have a bad night.

I have personally noticed a person who is average can seriously get away with it with confidence but a person who is attractive seriously has a bad time if they have no confidence.

I guess it depends on how good looking YOU are and how good looking the girls you approach are for one.

Also, there's lots of people out there who have neither studied or even heard of 'game' who do well, so I wouldn't expect miracles.

After I studied game for a month or 2, I went out and made my first ever cold approach on a girl in a bar, and I banged her back at my place within an a few hours. I felt like a genius.

But in hindsight, I didn't really use many of the techniques that i'd read about. (mind went blank in the field of battle) I think she just liked me, and I later learned she was also on the rebound so i bet most guys cuold have banged her that night if they'd had the guts too approach! I sometimes think that's 90% of 'game'. Having the balls to approach which most guys never dol But i confess I've since had very little joy!

SHe was fairly hot though, and like young enough to be my daughter! lol (she'd just turned 18)

There's lots of variables though. How many approaches have you made? what do you consider a rejection? Just not getting a kiss or a laid?

How many women that you opened are you basing this "lots of rejection on"? 300? 1000? Or have you not started opening yet and this post is based on your fear of rejection?

Short answer, yes. Iv heard the stat a few times that even the super players realistically have sex with 20 or 30 percent of the women they show interest in. So no matter who you are, you're going to get rejected more often than not. That's not to say that you can't walk into a club, put your arm around the first girl you see, and go home with her 20 minutes later. I have been there and done that but I still have blowout nights.

So I guess it just comes down to how you view rejection? You could argue that if you get rejected a 100 times a night, but still close , that you still have 100% success rate, cause you close every night you go out.

I'm sure you've heard it before , but I encourage you to stop calling it rejection. Focus on learning and moving forward.

"You got laid? Great. I'm sure you learned a lot from the experience"

"You got a drink thrown in your face as everyone around chanted "Rejected!!!"? Great. You learned from that too."

Rejection is normal.

You'll get rejected more if you're genetically unfortunate or not really personable. However, over time you'll get better at the whole approaching thing and have better conversations.

My first set ever was a six set where I got all their numbers. But then since then, even when I actually knew what I was doing I've had nights when I went home with nothing but a lighter wallet.

lots of rejection will happen for two reasons -

you're not making honest attempts and bailing out at some point
you're continually going after a particular type of girl (and / or in a particular environment) instead of trying all girl types.

Yes, in the beginning lot's of rejection is normal. Rejection is normal in general actually.

If you don't get laid in the first 100 opens... that's perfectly fine.

Just make sure you're asking questions and considering what you could do better along the way. (Without over dissecting and pulling your hair out of course. A lot of rejection has nothing to do with you.)
